サン ペドロ ホリディ ホテル(Holiday Hotel)

This is a restaurant review only- we don’t stay in the hotel. La Sanpedrana- Stopped by for a quick happy hour drink and were **wowed** by the bartender “Tai-Two”(iykyk). He makes the BEST coconut mojitos (think mojito smoothie) on the *****. And we know…. We tried them ALL. He is kind and thoughtful and we came back again. However (owner?) “Magic Mike” was serving that time and was….. a little suffocating. We were the only ones in the bar - so we got ALL the attention. But great view, chill vibe and great food. Worth a stop!

we stayed at the hotel for one week. the location, at the back of the main street and in front of the beach, is perfect. the rooms are rustic, with little soundproofing and old-fashioned equipment, but they are functional. The wifi and air conditioning work very well. However, this hotel should definitely be avoided if you want peace and quiet: when we arrived on Saturday, and the day before we left the following Saturday, we really suffered from the loud music. It was the party organised by the hotel on the 2nd Saturday that really got on our nerves: we had to wake up at 5am to go back to the mainland, and the bass made our beds vibrate until 3.30am despite our request to turn the music down. Unless you don't mind the noise, there are several other very good hotels nearby that will guarantee you a better night's sleep.

This review is actually about the hotel’s restaurant, La SanPedrana. It’s an excellent location in town and on the beach. It offers local cuisine including a Mayan fish chowder called chechak. Unfortunately my chechak was served barely warm and had almost nothing but fish and soup, almost no vegetables. However the servers were helpful and friendly and the other food that was ordered was good. Very nice, highly recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here for 4 nites. Was exactly as advertised. Not fancy just good comfy accomodation. Would have rated even higher except for outrageously loud music from neighboring bar one nite.

Cute little hotel right on the beach. Can literally walk right out of your room and be on the private beach. Hotel service was incredible and helped us book an amazing snorkeling tour at Hol Chan and Shark Ray alley, they were flexible with check-in/check-out, and the dining restaurant connected to the lobby was very delicious and good prices. Highly recommend for a relaxing, isolating trip!

Check in was easy, and the hotel is conveniently located both on the beach and in the center of everything. It's a five minute walk from the airport and water taxi. There's also a good restaurant downstairs

The location is perfect and that's what this place has going for it. The Customer Service for the hotel was great too. For the restaurant on site it was hit and miss. However, the hotel is run down and could use maintenance. And while I expected it to be pretty basic, not providing shampoo/conditioner or even a towel for each guest, is simply ridiculous after paying US$150/night.

Great experience! Our Jr Suite had a great view and only yards from the beach. Affordable and clean. The bar and restaurant were amazing. In the heart of downtown San Pedro. Our server Geo was the best! Friendly and helpful giving great advice on things to do.

Great stay for 1 night and I would definitely choose this place again, I wanted something close to the airport and the water taxi I had room 4 on the 2nd floor the room was clean and had everything I needed for my brief stay . Right in the heart of everything, The only complaint I have is I did not have hot water, I loved the history of this hotel and the staff were very nice,
