We were prepared when booking this hotel from existing reviews by others. What happened turns out disappointing. The room on 2000 series on second floor seems an old unit, no shower floor towel, bath tub a bit old but functional, no fridge and so on. We were prepared for all that considering the price and location. At bed time, we found two bugs on bed linen but dusted them off. It's tropical a**osphere, what one expect! The next morning after breakfast, however, I found a few more on my bed. I pulled out a one of my credit card and killed a few. When pulled up my bed cover further, more showed up ...... See the bug in the video clip. I called front desk who sent a room services personnel to look at it. The personnel seems surprised to see the bugs as well. The front desk lady was nice and quick to act and changed my room to the room on 6000 series and okay with us. I requested to talk to their manager. Once back in late afternoon that day, I approached frondesk rep who went to backroom to fetch for the manager. The manager showed up in a while and apologized lightly, and started to push back by saying it's tropical weather here,bugs are normal, and many more. I told him that the room is infested too bad and need a thoughrou cleaning to eradicate the infestation. The manage then went on to explaining the same. I feel disappointed. For this hotel, I do not recommend this hotel until they do a good job. Or if you do like us, not exactly though, do make sure to ask the right question to avoid such a room. Good luck next time.

The most unorganised hotel I have ever been to. Check in is from 3pm and so we arrived at 4pm to be greeted to a huge queue of people unable to get their room as none of the cleaning was completed. Reception told us it would take 30 mins to get a room which was a complete lie. We kept going up and checking and they kept saying another 10 minutes which carried on for 2.5 hours at which time we only received the key to 1/4 rooms I had booked. Other guests we spoke to waited over 4 hours for their room key. We were given one soft drink as a concession for this which I thought was unacceptable. Instead of waiting around to be told further fake waiting times, we left the hotel to go back to town and then on returning at 11pm, the new receptionist had no idea about the issue and struggled to find our other rooms we had been waiting for, resulting in more waiting around after already being frustrated about the situation earlier. Eventually the receptionist from earlier appeared in a very dismissive manner and shoved a post it note with our remaining room numbers for the man to find. Not good service at all. The next day we booked a shuttle bus to the airport. We got to the designated spot and they had run out of room on the bus despite us pre booking. This means we had to wait another 30 mins for a bus to be organised resulting in us having less time at the airport to get through security etc. The actual hotel is fine with a nice pool area (one of the reasons we had booked but were unable to use due to no room access for hours on end) but the management of this hotel is atrocious. Wyndham need to look at this urgently as it is dragging down their name as a trusted hotel chain. I will never be staying at a Wyndham again if they can’t guarantee a stress free experience.

Upon check in we had to wait a long time and people were skipping the line everywhere. Checkout process was simple though. The restaurant closed hours before the posted time on the entrance leaving us with no where to eat a late dinner. The room looked nothing at all like advertised on the website or *******. Our room was old and had a smell. It was dirty, with pieces of food left on the floor from the previous occupants. We also had a terrible view of garbage piles outside our window.

Room was not ready until 3 hours after check in time. Facility was very understaffed. Service was poor due to inadequate staffing. Loud rooms. Air conditioners did not function properly. Property is in despair.

Long line to check in (similar each day I stayed). Two desks open, but at least they need one more to keep up with the visitors in high demand times. They didn't have my room (king) or any room with king size bed available because they didn't have clean sheets. I either had to wait for the room to be available or take a double-bed lower priced. I took it, but there were no hand towels. The desk didn't answer my several calls because they were busy juggling with the customers and the not ready rooms. This is bad management. For two straight days, they didn't clean the room and I still didn't have a hand towel. I never leave a sign not to do it, and sometimes I make the bed, but not this day. I notified the first day, they only made the bed and still left the dirty cup and didn't replenish with coffee cups. I have stayed here only because everywhere else is full, but breakfast is always the same scrambled eggs half-cooked and rice. This hotel has a very bad management. They do not hire personnel. They are extremely understaffed. One cook only and you cannot order anything when he is on a break. The fitness center has a lot of equipment, but I had to bring my cup to drink water.

Airport shuttle never showed up, room was changed on arrival, a/c didn’t work, shower didn’t drain, carpet was dirty, and zero sound buffer to the hallway caused frequent wake-ups throughout the night.

We stayed for a stopover at the Wyndham before flying home from San Jose. It’s about 10 minutes from the airport and offers a free shuttle. The Staff are professional and helpful. The grounds are immaculate and the swimming pools a bonus. The rooms are airy, air conditioned with comfortable beds and hot water. The on-site restaurant / eatery could be better but there are other restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We purchased breakfast and were very disappointed, at $15 it wasn’t a cheap option, the quality was poor but all in all it was perfect for what we wanted.

Check in was a little slow. We had to go back to check in to get towels. We did find food by walking across the bridge that spans the freeway. The airport shuttle was convenient and right on time. The pool and grounds were neat and clean.

The fact that you can drop off your rental car (Alamo) right at the hotel was a big bonus. Hotel was A . Staff at the reception desk top notch. Staff in the bar and ****** not super friendly though
