My first impression of the hotel was creepy, but I was pleasantly surprised at how almost normal staff were, room was warm and cosey, but the sheets did smell a little funky. Not suitable for veggies and anyone on a budget, drinks are overpriced.

Just the most relevant thinks: - restaurant is nice, food is average. With one exception when it was above average . Very nice personnel!! - if the hotel is fully booked with skiers no room for boots and skis - the bathroom is stinky, sewage smells all day, if window kept open you can feel like going to toilet in the woods in the winter. Not pleasant when having a shower. - going for a bath with exchange clothes…. better not , no hook or a hanger. It was a bar where the toiletry bag was hanged. It was removed and the toiletry bag was put in bidé. I had a discussion with receptionist and the housekeeper. - bathroom door opening is a concert of technical noise - the same sewage odor in the toilet near the restaurant - house keeping is random and if the toilet paper finished you have to ask from the receptionist - breakfast average but very crowded around the plates when the hotel is fully booked. So, in general is acceptable if no high standards. Feels like at country side in a parvenue accommodation.

Regina Hotel is a really fancy and comfy place. The rooms are super nice, and the food at Regina is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's in a great location, so you can easily explore. It's the perfect spot for a special and unforgettable getaway

This review is for the Regina restaurant. I would advise everyone to stay far away from this restaurant. I ordered my steak medium well and received a RAW steak. Extremely bloody. On top of that I got food poisoning from the food/steak. Service was bad and our waitress didn’t even speak German. The menu had like 3 things on it. If you’re vegetarian or vegan good luck finding anything. Can absolutely NOT recommend this place.

Upon arrival by taxi from the train, Jason hopped down and lugged our luggage up the steps. We had a nice room with a lovely view a few steps from the elevator. The bed was very comfortable. Terrific breakfasts and fine meals and wine at fair pricing. Not cheap, but not crazy either! The wonderful lady at the desk made a call to her friend Franz the taxi owner. Several trips and tours ensued.Both of these people are absolute gems!

Ich hatte eine äußerst negative Erfahrung. Der Besitzer, Olaf, war sehr unhöflich und schlug vor, dass wir gehen sollten, wenn uns etwas nicht gefiel. Trotz der Buchung eines Zimmers für 4 Personen, wie auf Booking beworben, stellte sich heraus, dass sie einfach zwei zusätzliche Betten in das vorhandene Zimmer geschoben hatten. Wir suchten Anerkennung und faire Behandlung, aber leider trafen wir auf Unprofessionalität. In Zukunft werde ich diesen Ort meiden, da die Erfahrung täuschend war und viel zu wünschen übrig ließ. I had an extremely negative experience. The owner, Olaf, was very rude and even suggested we leave if we had any issues. Despite booking a room for 4 people, as advertised on Booking, it turned out they simply added two extra beds to the existing room. We sought acknowledgment and fair treatment, but sadly, we encountered unprofessionalism. I will steer clear of this place in the future, as the experience felt deceptive and left much to be desired.

"Beste Freundinnen Wochenende" in Bad Gastein - wir hätten uns keinen besseren Ort als "Das Regina Hotel" aussuchen können. Eigentlich wollte ich ein anderes Hotel vor Ort buchen. Jedoch hat mich fehlender Service und lange Wartezeit auf Fragen rund um meine Buchung davon abgebracht. Unser Glück, denn sonst wären wir nicht im "Das Regina Hotel" gelandet. Hier wurde schon im Vorfeld prompt, persönlich und professionell geantwortet und reagiert. Was soll ich sagen ... wir haben es nicht bereut. Zwei Zimmer, zwei Balkone, zwei Bäder verbunden durch eine Verbindungstür und das Ganze mit herrlichem Ausblick aufs Tal. Ein Team, das so herzlich und zugewandt war, dass wir das Hotel gar nicht mehr verlassen wollten. Hervorragender Kaffee, leckerer Kuchen, ein wunderbares Abendessen, erlesene Weine (alles zu vernünftigen Preisen), ein Frühstück, das keine Wünsche lässt (Bioprodukte, viel frisches Obst, wieder der hervorragende Kaffee). Ja, das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen - aber genau das hat uns gefallen. Ja, die Bäder sind alt - aber so sauber & entzückend, dass es eine Freude ist. Ja, das Team spricht nicht perfekt deutsch - aber jeder Wunsch wird von den Augen abgelesen. Ja, wir kommen wieder, lieber Jason Houzer nebst wunderbarem Team :-)

Wir 4 (Familie mit 2 Teenagern) sind von unserer Rückreise aus Italien für eine Nacht im Regina Hotel eingekehrt. Das Hotel versprüht Nostalgie und Charme. Die Einrichtung ist aus vergangenen Tagen, was das Hotel um so mehr aufwertet. Wir haben uns auf dem Zimmer und in den unteren Räumlichkeiten sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen nett. Wir haben sogar ein Upgrade bekommen. Cocktails sind sehr gut und das Essen im Restaurant war auch ausgesprochen lecker (Risotto mit Zander war wunderbar cremig und auf dem Punkt). Die Anreise von Süden war für uns etwas abenteuerlich, da wir nichts vom Autozug wussten, der Kärten und Salzburger Land verbindet. So sind wir eine Stunde umhergeirrt und haben nicht gewusst, warum unser Navi uns in die Irre führt ;-) All in all ein toller Tag in Bad Gastein. Natürlich kein Schnäppchen (im Sommer braucht es wahrscheinlich nicht das 12,— EUR Parkticket vom Hotel)

Ich habe über *********** gebucht und bekam, nachdem ich das Zimmer betrat einen Schock. Einrichtung wie vor 100 Jahren. Eine Steckdose an einer dreifach Verlängerungsschnur, keine Dusche, nur eine Badewanne in die ich nicht mal meine Füße gestellt hätte. Plötzlich wußte ich, warum ich bereits bei der Buchung bezahlen musste, plus Kurtaxe und Frühstück 156,28€. Den Portier auf den Zustand angesprochen, er war zu keinerlei Zugeständnissen bereit, im Gegenteil, er war stolz auf dieses Museum und sagte, dass ich an Sylvester mindestens 400,-€ bezahlen müsste. Keine Erstattung, weder Kurtaxe noch Frühstück. Ich bin abgereist, wollte mir den Urlaub nicht verderben. Fotos, die das belegen, kann ich gerne liefern. Finger weg, wer nicht in der Mottenkiste verstauben will!!!
