What an amazing experience staying at Halcyon days suites. The room was gorgeous, it had everything in it we could need for our 5 day stay. The views are breath taking and eating the most delicious breakfast looking out at this beautiful country was a fantastic start to each morning. We don’t have a bad word to say. The location was great, a short walk to Pyrgos which had lovely restaurants, bus stop and buggy/moped/quad bike hire. We thought this was a great location to be able to explore the rest of the island each day. We must mention Zuzana who was AMAZING no request was too much and her advice and support allowed us to make the most of our stay. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and added to our lovely stay. We would recommend this hotel to everyone, it truly is a little hidden gem.

There is only 1 word to sum-up Halcyon Days, AMAZING! We stayed for 4 nights at the end of September in a Euphoria room with a hot tub. The views from your own sun terrace are stunning. Breakfast was brought to your terrace each morning and the selection was amazing. It was always a surprise (so won’t spoil it for you!) but there was far more than you could eat (we used to save some to take out with us lunchtime). The hosts Suzan and George looked after us. We were collected from the airport and met in the square by George and Thanasis who carried our cases up the cobbled steps to the apar**ent. A huge thank you to Thanasis who never seemed to sleep, from meeting us at 2300hrs when we arrived, to bringing us our breakfast in a morning. Another HUGE thank you goes to Suzan who was always on-hand to help during the day with organising trips and giving friendly advice on where to visit, eat and drink (we highly recommend the Kantouni restaurant at the bottom of the steps, we had a couple of takeaways from here and enjoyed the food on the terrace with a bottle of wine. The Kalliston restaurant (you walk past it every day!) was also great for takeaways, gyros, pitta, Greek salads etc). Suzan recommended the sunset cruise with Santorini Star, the 5 hours catamaran sunset cruise which was one of the best things we have experienced. We also hired a quad bike for the day to explore parts of the island you wouldn’t normally see ie Megalochorion. If you are in any doubt, we highly recommend Halcyon Days, a real gem and we give it 5 stars.

With my partner we stayed in Halcyon Day Suites in Euphoria Apar**ent. This place is absolutely amazing! It’s so far the best apar**ent I’ve ever been to. Totally beyond my expectations! I loved the modern design of our apar**ent. It was fully equipped with all important things, big and comfortable bed, big shower, fridge, glasses, nespresso machine along with capsules refilled daily, marshall speaker. You can clearly see that they take care of every small detail. The view from our balcony and hot tub was spectacular, everyday I was torn apart between staying in or traveling through the island ;) Breakfast was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and served to our apar**ent, so we could enjoy it on fresh air. If you are still considering where to book you stay - just save yourself some time and book Halcyon Days !! It’s so much better than staying in Oia/Fira, because you have privacy and the staff will take amazing care of you! Big thanks for all people who work there - you are all doing amazing work! We can’t wait to be back!

We have 15 year anniversary with my husband and we a very glad to chose this hotel.Amazing staff, amazing service, breakfast fantastic. Definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends.

I had the most incredible stay at Halcyon. I stayed in the Euphoria suite, and for a solo traveller it was perfect. The included breakfast was delicious, plentiful and full of variety. The views from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking and the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The room itself was comfortable and well furnished and had everything you could possibly need. However, the highlight of my stay there was the staff. Elizabeth and Alex are the most amazing hosts - nothing was ever too much trouble. Elizabeth especially would go out her way to help me plan my days and her recommendations were always spot on. Travelling on my own I was nervous, but they both made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and for me that made this trip much more special.

WOW, WOW, WOW We stayed at Halcyon Days in the ‘Beyond suite with hottub’ for 3 nights, due to a wedding. We have never visited Santorini before and as soon as we got in the prearranged taxi at the airport, we both said wow this island is beautiful. We got dropped off in Pyrgos square, where the hosts from Halycon Days met us and carried out suitcase up the windy cobbled streets of Pygros. It was just now I imagined. We arrived at our apar**ent, and was stunned by the view! It was 21.30 so it was getting dark and you could see the towns of Fira and Oia in the distance all lit up. Beautiful. Could stare at the view for hours and never get bored. We couldn’t wait to see the view the next morning. We walked into our apar**ent with a welcoming bottle of rose and cheese & ham slate. Lovely gesture. The apar**ent- amazing! Cave like, super cool and trendy and all the amenities of a 5 star apar**ent, plus more! A wine fridge !! Nespresso machine - which for me is a must! Capsules refilled daily! The kitchen also contained a fridge and oven. The terrace- find my a more spacious one in Santorini with a view like this one! Corner settee on one side, Dining table on the other, sunbeds, hottub! It really is as spacious as the photos! Hottub perfect temp for the hot July weather, part shade , part sun, perfect for me who likes sun, and shade for my husband. Whilst here we visited Santo Wines for a wedding, the view from here is spectacular so would highly recommend visiting there if you like your wine! Or just for a photo. We also had friends staying in Kamari so we visited there too, Kamari is the seaside town, loads of places to eat overlooking the sea, glad we visited there. If we stayed longer we would have ventured out to Fira and Oia, they will be next on the list when we come back to Santorini, and we definitely will be back! Special thanks to Suzan, our host, who couldn’t do enough for us, bringing us breakfast every morning to our room with a smile on her face asking about our day and advising us on things to do. Breakfast was perfect, different every morning, Brought up the room, omelette, fried eggs, fresh pastries, fruit , coffee. I will be sad to leave this lovely apar**ent and island, but we will definitely be back soon day soon. Bye for now. X

We were so lucky to have found this place online. We stayed a week in June and our stay was faultless. Sitting high above the village of Pyrgos these stunning suites offer unrivalled views over the island from the privacy of your own terrace and pool. We stayed in one of the cave suites which was comfortable, stylish, and well equipped for our stay. Our private pool was one of the largest I have seen on the island compared to those overlooking the Caldera with no privacy. A lovely freshly cooked breakfast was delivered to your room each morning which was an absolute delight and a great start to the day enjoying fresh croissants, pastries, eggs, fruit & Greek Yogurt. Elizabeth & Alex were fabulous hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. They both go out of their way to ensure that you have the best experience on the Island. Pyrgos itself is a lovely village away from the excess crowds of Fira and Oia with a more traditional feel and affords great views over the island. There are a great selection of restaurants nearby & Elizabeth will also give good recommendations and make reservations on your behalf. There is a regular bus service to Fira from the village, however we hired a car to travel round the Island. Elizabeth also arranged private transfers for us in the evenings to Fira and Kamari. The hotel also offers a small pool and room to refresh for late flights and we also saw that they are building a small bar/snack bar which will be a great addition to the suites. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and will return in the future. Thankyou Elizabeth & Alex for an amazing stay.

I can’t begin to explain how perfect this place is. Let me start by saying how modern, clean and high quality everything is. From the second we stepped out our taxi, we were greeted by the amazing George, who showed us to our apar**ent and had our luggage taken up for us (it’s very hot and a lot of stairs up so this was needed and appreciated!) George was friendly and kind and very very welcoming, he showed us our beautiful suite, and even gave us a complimentary charcuterie board and bottle of wine. The room was pristine with stunning views of the island and sunset, spacious and has everything you need. The breakfast was unbelievable, but HUGE, way too much food (there’s worse things to have in life!) so tasty and fresh and always something different, delivered on time always. Suzan the other host was very attentive and kind and helped book all our activities. George & Suzan really made our experience! I honestly can’t fault this place, worth every single penny, and we would be back in a heartbeat if we could. The price is very impressive for what you get. My husband and I spent a week in the Zenith suite in Halcyon Days and had a wonderful time. Communication with Zuzana was really clear from the start and we were grateful that they helped us with our luggage to the room. Its less than a 5min walk from the centre of Pyrgos and a little bit of a steep walk but I'm pregnant and found it fine. As it was our first time on the island, they gave us a great overview of where to go, what to see and recommendations on where to eat. Our favourites were Pelicanos restaurant in Oia, Fratzeskos in Perissa beach (fresh fish), Katsaboo in Fire and the Pyrgos restaurant. Our room was so spacious and clean and really well decorated. We loved the warm pool with fantastic views and the jets were nice and relaxing. Breakfast was delivered to the room everyday and gave a good variety of eggs, breads, cakes and fruit with fresh orange juice. The only issue i had was the bed was too soft for me (pregnant with an existing bad back) but i appreciate them swapping the mattress to try and help.
