Santorini's Balcony - Apartments ホテル(Amaze Suites)

We just returned from a trip which included staying at Amaze Suites. First of all the service by the manager of the property named Mike was phenomenal. He was completely available and responsive every day all day. His explanations of what to do when and why was outstanding. There was nothing we requested that he couldn't produce. This included a dehumidifier for our room and a different room when we got there and he showed us where our room would be. My husband said he would like a better view and Mike immediately switched our room location. Having said all of this, as far as American standards I would classify the hotel as 3 star. But the price reflects that. The hotel was a decent value, but high in terms of service. There is a nice view and you can walk about an hour to get to Fira, and 2 hours to Oia. The path is very windy and steep in some areas. You have to be pretty fit to take it on. Santorini overall is of spectacular beauty.

Best view, service , breakfast, hospitality! Staff very friendly , quite place between Fira and Oia (Ia) . Also , panoramic sea , sunset and Caldera . The Hotel has private parking area for us , and especially for me ( in the age of 62 years old ) NO STEPS !

We visited from Las Vegas first time in Santorini, this resort is the best location to enjoy the magnificent Santorini sunset 🌇. The management and the resort crew are amazing people and friendly. We had the best balcony/jacuzzi suite and infinity pool.

This place is simply unreal! Cozy, welcoming, serene, great food and tasty cocktails and above all the staff was amazing! Imerovigli which the hotel is located is unique on the planet! Away from the noise of the town. The suites are very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds an the decoration and placing order is so elegant. Thus making us relax and feel like home. Not to mention the private hottub! The words to describe the pool area are simply not enough! The view takes your breath away. Overlooking the caldera makes you feel like being on a cloud hovering above sea. The most beautiful island of Greece at the most beautiful spot. I totally recommend!! Going back again soon this year.

We stayed at Santorini's Balcony Hotel Oct 8-12 and enjoyed our stay with Anthony and the great staff. We were welcomed with our choice of drinks as we had an early check-in for our room, and then were shown to our room. Our room had a magnificent balcony with a view of the sea from the caldara rim. As with most hotels in this area of Santorini, the rooms all tend to have a subterranean feel with lots of strong concrete walls and lots of steps due to the hillside. Room had a walk in shower, and was very comfortable with good air conditioning. The balcony with the private plunge pool and sun lounger was magnificent, and a highlight was being able to watch the sunset from our table and chairs. Breakfast was great, with a large selection of items and we always had plenty to eat and lots of coffee. The staff were very attentive and always able to provide our requirements. One of the best things was the great advice from Anthony, about what to see and do on Santorini. His best advice was to rent a car and then be able to drive around the island and see things, as the bus system was somewhat unreliable. On our trips we would see groups waiting in the hot sun for the local bus, or walking along the narrow roads. Given the location of the hotel, and the fact that there was no evening meals available due to the illness of the chef, we either drove into Fira or had dinner at the adjacent Tassos tavern. The hotel was also getting ready for their annual October shutdown for maintenance, so probably why there was not dinners service at the hotel. All in all, the location was very picturesque, and provided incredible views from the caldara rim, and we really enjoyed the hotel and the staff. Anthony, thanks for all your great recommendations.

It was one of the best. The view was remarkable, the owner of the hotel was soooo hospitable . Both Ali & Stavros and the rest of the staff were sooooo helpful and provided us with every thing we needed. They were like a family to us ❤️ The room was very clean and the location of the hotel is superb in between ferra and Oia.

My wife and I visited Santorini in October 2023 and stayed for 7 days at B&B at Santorinis Balcony in Imerovigli. We were so pleased with our choice of hotel. Anthony and his team worked hard to make the hotel a home from home, and the service was always delivered with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. I can't speak more highly or recommend enough. The rooms are modern and are cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. All rooms have a balcony or terrace with their heated plunge pool affording views of the Caldera and Oia. Sitting in the plunge pool on our first night watching the sunset with my wife is a memory we will treasure forever. The breakfast menu offers a variety of options and you can order as much as you like, I highly recommend Sebastian's homemade granola, it was so good I asked for the recipe! Snacks, hot food and drinks are available throughout the day while room service incurs an additional charge. The pool area is like an oasis and is so peaceful and not overlooked, passers-by on their way back from the Oia hike stop to take pictures of the welcome site on a hot day! Another plus for our hotel is it is accessible from ground level, many of the hotels in Oia and those in Fira and Imerovigli are accessed via steps. Imerovigli is a lovely village offering a variety of excellent restaurants, most of which benefit from stunning views typical of Santorini. You can walk on the path along the Caldera rim or via the main road, though I would suggest driving the latter rather than walking. Walking between the villages at night is best done with a torch as the paths are rugged. From Imerovigli, you can walk onward to the capital Fira which offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants though like Oia it can become crowded when the cruise ships dock. We felt October was a brilliant time of the year to visit, we avoided the extreme summer heat, and the additional crowds and yet still had temperatures slightly above average at 22-25 degrees without a hint of rain. On our second day, we did the 8k hike from Imerovigli to Oia and back (16k). Most chose to do this one way from Fira which is just under 15k but as we had already done that section we decided to walk from our hotel. The walk is a must-do, but I would recommend the correct footwear as being a volcanic island the paths are rugged with an elevation of 108m. Oia is stunning but very busy, even in October, as with much of Santorini you will feel the urge to grab your camera regularly! We hired a car for 3 days and enjoyed seeing other parts of the island such as the stunning and relaxed Kamari and Perissa Beaches, the wonderful Archaeological site at Akrotiri and the lighthouse at Akrotiri. On the recommendation of Anthony the owner of our hotel, we ate with locals at the beautiful Giorgaros, a seafood restaurant close to the lighthouse, the food and views were incredible. We booked this hotel through ***********. We booked a junior suite that boasted of having a private terrace outside the door. The terrace was actually twelve steps up to an unshaded overlooked area with shabby furniture and a view of an area where rubbish was dumped. The main pool was green for the first five days we stayed there. The mood of the manager was hostile and we would have moved if there was any other accommodation available. The staff were superb. Fantastic and hardworking. Staff and view are the only assets of this hotel. No restaurant or spa as was offered. Breakfast was at the bar. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and it’s outrageously overpriced

Great location. Beautiful view. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Parking included. We stayed there for 10 days and enjoyed it every single day. The hotel administrator arranged a sailboat tour around the islands for us. It was wonderful
