キワッサ レイク ベッド & ブレックファスト(Kiwassa Lake Bed & Breakfast)

We stayed in the separate apartment above the barn next door to the B&B and it was fantastic. The lake was just steps away (where we were encouraged to store our own kayaks), the views of the lake and surrounding mountains were wonderful, and despite it being only a few miles from Saranac Lake village, it felt many miles away from everything. The hosts were helpful and kind and we hope to come back to stay next Fall. The apartment is open with 2 beds next to each other which is great for a family and the kitchen was fully-equipped.

We had a wonderful stay in the Pike Room. The room was spacious and comfortable with an expansive view of the lake. The location is ideal: on a quiet, secluded lake great for swimming with many options for boating and nearby hiking, but only a ten minute drive from the town of Saranac Lake with its restaurants and shops. Marjorie went out of her way to be helpful. Just note that the continental breakfast is quite light and that the kitchen has no stove, so it’s best to do some planning for meals.

The owner was just lovely and our stay was so peaceful! This was a business trip for me. My fiancé came along and enjoyed the kayaking and fishing right from the inn property while I was attending classes at the nearby community college. We enjoyed seeing abs hearing the loons, too. This was a beautiful and friendly spot to begin and end my day with and I just loved the homemade muffins and fruit. There were even cute acorn shaped muffins one day! Thank you for hosting!

Very nice place right on the lake. Large room with big windows facing the lake, small private deck outside of room. Room was especially clean. Property was very nice, lawn mowed, neat and organized. Parking right outside of building. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable of area and things to do. I would highly recommend this place to others.

We laved out stay in Kiwassa Bed and Breakfast. We stayed at Kiwassa bed and breakfast many times. it always has been a magical time. The view of the lake is breathtaking in any weather, sun, rain, or fog. Our room was clean, cozy, warm, and comfortable. Abundance of hiking, pristine nature, great restaurants makes it an ideal vacation spot. The owners provided us fresh coffee and baked goodies daily. it is always difficult to leave this magical place and we are looking to many future returns.

My wife and I stayed here three nights this week. It's a lovely site right on a lake. Marjorie is a wonderful and friendly hostess and a font of local information. We had the Pike Room with a view of the lake and a small balcony with two chairs and a table, also with a lake view. The room and bathroom are large. A pair of binoculars sits on the window sill. We used it for watching the loons! They have canoes and kayaks. We enjoyed a wonderful canoe ride around the lake. I recommend it. We had stayed here before back in '19 and decided to come back. When you call about reservations ask what the breakfast protocol is. Things change with Covid. We enjoyed fine baked goods and fruit.
