ホテル パーク ヴィラ(Hotel Park Villa)

Stayed here to start out a bike trip. Uphill from the train station to this old villa with lots of character. Lovely staff who greeted us and served us at dinner. Met Max who has been part of this hotel for a long time...charming man. Dinner was very good as was breakfast, served in their dining room and winter garden...lovely with the sun coming in. Small bar area but very comfy. Room was on the top floor (there is an elevator) and wasn't big but adequately equipped. Bathroom was tiny. Very clean. Fairly close to the Rhine Falls...we walked (about 40 minutes) but you can take a train or bus as well...worth it if you're in the area and it's a nice day.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Park Villa. The room was very beautiful, with lots of character. We had two twin beds and a queen bed. This setup was great for a family of four. The room includes a wonderful, large bathtub that was greatly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious. Maria served us breakfast every morning and was extremely kind and helpful. We left our iPad in our room upon departure and they were very helpful in notifying us and returning it to us. The location was on a great spot for walking through the town. We highly recommend staying here!

It is a very special experience to stay in this little castle. Be aware, that you will find something different. For me and my friends from the French part of Switzerland a must, when you come to Schaffhausen. Excellent hospitality, an outstanding breakfast and good food in the evening. Enjoy.

This is an old romantic hotel with nice a**osphere, great service, a la carte breakfast and very good location as regards proximity to city center. Certainly needs some renovating, trains pass by quite often, some room issues but the overall experience is nice and so different from the various hotel chains.

Simply wonderful! The charming building is run with love and care in every detail. Food offering is top class, staff also! Room spotless, quiet and with its special charme. Take it easy all round, can even have a round of tennis. Free parking and lovely Schaffhausen at walking distance. Simply…superb!!!

Si tratta di una antica residenza nel verde, adiacente alla città vecchia. Si respira aria di altri tempi. Esperienza particolare. Nel complesso lo standard di comfort è buono. Sublime la colazione servita al piano terra, dal gentilissimo proprietario.

Ich war mit einer Freundin auf einer 2-Tages-Wanderung und wir übernachteten in diesem Hotel. Das Ambiente ist einfach süss und herzlich. Das Mobiliar ist zwar älter aber sehr herzlich und schlosshaft. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Zimmer sauber… Das Essen war der absolute Burner und der Schlossherr, sowie die Angestellten sehr freundlich. Man fühlt sich im Schloss wirklich in der Zeit zurück versetzt aber ich hatte keinen Wunsch mehr offen! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft und das tolle Schlosserlebnis…

Das Frühstück ist einfach nur Klasse! Leider ist die Parkplatzsituation eine Katastrophe. Am Hotel nur wenige Stellplätze, in den Anliegerstraßen bis 18.00 Uhr alles kostenpflichtig. Ich hatte ein sehr kleines Zimmer unter dem Dach, welches zu 80 % vom Bett ausgefüllt wurde. Das Bad ebenfalls sehr klein. Duschvorgang klebt am Körper. Bad hat so gut wie keine Entlüftung. Bei hohen Außentemperaturen war das Zimmer sehr heiß, der vorhandene Ventilator brachte keine Linderung. Sauberkeit des Zimmers o.k. Lage zur Altstadt auch gut. Aufzug funktionierte nicht. Im Hinblick auf den stattlichen Preis schade.
