Beautiful location with spectacular view. Very nice people running the place. Restaurant is superb, also with very charming people. Garden and swimming pool are really nice places to relax. Pop stars turned up for a wedding as we were leaving so obviously the place to be!

PROS: -STUNNING grounds + pool area with incredible sea views -hotel is walking distance to The Tonnara and a few other great beaches, 10 minute drive to a great beach club -lunch and bar service available all day -rooms are very quiet -dinner on site was good -lots of communal space to relax CONS: -rooms are close together and we had a room that had a balcony (which we paid extra for) but the balcony was next to the main entrance of the hotel and therefore had no privacy -window in the room didn't open -room itself was a bit dated -front desk staff not super helpful with info on local attractions (eg: we asked specifically if the tonnara offered food, they told us no, not even water -- we arrived and there is a full cafe and bar inside)

Just returned from a four night stay here. This is a beautifully kept family hotel - the setting on the hillside is fabulous and if you are after a relaxing few days sat by a pool then this is the place . The owners are on-site ensuring that everything is always running smoothly. Excellent restaurant too

We spent three idyllic nights in this lovely hotel perched on a cliff in Scopello. The pool is lovely, the Bellevue Bar is magical around sunset and the restaurant is fabulous. With a friendly, accommodating staff and a spectacular location just steps away from the most lovely little town plaza with the requisite cafes, gelato spots and restaurants, site of a nightly sunset 'passeggiata' with townsfolk and tourists alike, it was the dreamiest way to spend a few days, and we're already planning our next visit!

A very nice family hotel. The staff were very pleasant. The swimming pool is lovely - quiet, beautifully located and not overcrowded even in late July. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast was beyond excellent. The room (an excecutive suite) was perhaps a little smaller than anticipated, but the air conditioning was excellent. Beautiful grounds which were extremely well kept.

We were so happy with our last minute booking of a sea view bedroom at this Scopello little gem! La Tavernetta is a family run boutique hotel with manicured gardens. From the owners to staff across the property we felt they were attentive and professional, second to none Sicilian hospitality. Breakfast had delicious rotated daily choices and was served at the covered open air restaurant. We dinned at the restaurant and were extremely satisfied with the flavours in the menu and wine suggestions. It was well worth booking a room with sea view. We cannot wait to go back to that gorgeous boutique hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The grounds are beautiful and the room was modern and very clean. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend walking to the nearby Tonnara di Scopello. This a private ‘beach’ with paid entry but definitely worth it. We didn’t get chance to eat dinner at the hotel but there was plenty of choice at breakfast. We felt so relaxed and welcome during our stay.

My wife and I loved reacquainting ourselves with the friendly, knowledgeable and charming La Tavernetta staff. Again they provided delicious and authentic Sicilian breakfast and dinner fine dining experiences. Our rooms were very comfortable with ensuite bathrooms overlooking the beautiful aged olive tree & flowering gardens with partial sea views of the wonderful Zingaro Reserve bay. Our daughter was particularly impressed with the quality of her family room's facilities for her young son, our grandson. After a day's touring of the nearby marvellous Segesta or Selinute or Erice archaeological sights, we always relaxed in the the hotel's infinity swimming pool-an oasis of calm after busy dusty days! This was always followed by a pre-dinner spritz or impressive vino in the hotel's Bellevue Bar overlooking the Tyrrhenian sea or alternatively walking to the two nearby bars in picturesque Scopello square. La Tavernetta Hotel & Restaurant is a unique place to fully embrace the Dolce Vita!

This is a small, family run hotel in Scopello, just above the sea. The gardens are very special, with inviting lawn interspersed with olive trees just above a spectacular pool. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a treat, and we enjoyed 2 wonderful dinners here. Easy access from the Palermo airport and into Trapani/Erice. Highly recommend for a "getaway" on your driving tour of Sicily.
