For anyone who is visiting Hopi Nation, I would recommend staying at the Hopi Cultural Center. I’ve stayed here 3 times over the last 15 years and I always come away more relaxed and connected to the earth. You come to Hopi to connect with the culture and the great Hopi people so it makes a difference when you can actually stay on this property which is owned by the Hopi Nation and not a commercial 3rd party. The property was closed during COVID, as was the Hopi Nation, but you can tell that they took the time to start renovating some spaces. The rooms are simple but clean and it’s all you need when visiting this location. They have cable TVs, a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker in each room. The basic rooms come with 2 full beds and the air conditioner in each room is enough to cool you off during our hot Arizona summers. During our stay, the hotel restaurant was open but you need to be seated prior to 7 p.m. or you will miss dinner. They close the kitchen promptly at 7 p.m. and the food is very good. I read the reviews that said that the WiFi was bad but we didn’t have a problem but we weren’t trying to work from our room. I hope you will give this hotel and cultural center a try.
