The staff at every level are helpful, friendly and very committed to their work and ensuring you are enjoying your stay. The breakfasts are superb, the hotel is spotlessly clean throughout, and the location is quiet, overlooking the lake, where a boat can be hired just a short walk away, and for more restaurants, shops etc, Dezenzano is close by.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spacious and clean, and the services provided were of the highest standard. The location of the hotel was convenient, I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast offered each morning. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Loved the location with the view of the lake from the room and from the restaurant, security of the parking behind a tall fence; despite the fact we stayed only one night while on transit, we really enjoyed the experience

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel as the service from everyone, including the manager, was amazing. The customer service training was clearly embedded, even the cleaning staff said good morning. The outdoor pool area along with the views of the lake were fantastic. There was a lovely promenade walk at the back of the hotel by the lake, The food at breakfast was outstanding and the bar service was excellent too. A nice touch carrying our drinks to the room of an evening. Drinks costs more here than the local resturants Points to note: The hotel is a 50 min walk from the main town Desenzano. There is a clear path to follow The ferry timetables change in the winter and we didnt get to the north of the lake because of the time it would take on the ferry. The hotel offered one free shuttle bus service to town thereafter its 25 euros Download the Arriva bus time table, the buses are 95% reliable. Bus stops are outside the hotel and are only about 4 euros. Will need cash With hindsight we should of travelled around more and stayed in the nearby cities. From Desenzano station, Verona 30 mins, Venice 90 min, Milan 60 mins. Great Pizza place next to the hotel - Il Lido A n excellent location to see some of the best sights of Italy .

Splendido it was! A fantastic hotel in a wonderful location, breakfast over looking the lake was perfect, rooms are excellent, spa and pool the same, good restaurants if you are a fish eater with very nice wines. Nice to walk along the lake in the evening and find local restaurants. Close location to ferries to take you all over the lake. The hotel could not do enough for us and we will look forward to returning.

Everything was perfect at the hotel. The staff were just so lovely! Our suite was gorgeous and private and hearing the lake whilst we were sitting on our terrace is a memory we won’t forget. Great accommodation and incredible breakfast looking over the lake. Our evening meal in the Italian restaurant was delicious and complete with the theatre of the white truffle. We will return most definitely! The only negative was not the fault of the hotel - but just a watch out - the taxi driver charged 18 euros before we had even set off on our journey …. Difficult to question this as I don’t speak Italian!

Staff worked hard to make our stay welcoming and worked to help us find boats to rent. The spa was not available one day as it was being upgraded to a larger sauna. I look forward to trying it out next time.

Had a great stay here towards end of holiday season with perfect sunny weather. If you are looking for a relaxing spa break around the hotel and pool with some great food inhouse or nearby - with a ferry service to Garda towns then this is for you. Not a hotel for wandering out at night as eating options are limited to a few restaurants albeit a taxi is obv an option. Food, pool and spa great as is the bar. Olive tour was great as was a boat trip into Sirmione, the Roman villa/castle is a must for history lovers and great views and access to Jamica beach.

A wonderful resort on the edge of Lake Garda. Modern, sophisticated and phenomenal service. The front desk staff were excellent. They helped in every possible and all the staff went out of their way to make our visit a memorable one. The wait staff were fantastic - very professional and friendly (often a difficult thing to achieve). We went to the restaurant on- site for dinner each night (we were there for 3nights) and the food was fantastic as was the service. Led by Hamz the staff were as good as the food! It was quite quiet there when we stayed which was the end of the season. We asked the hotel to arrange a two hour boat tour with guide/driver which they did and it gave us a very good overview of the area.

We had a wonderful time at Splendido Bay, the hotel was in a superb location on the lake side and the staff and facilities on site were top-rate. The only downside is the real absence of local transport infrastructure - if it were not for the wonderful local ferry which called nearby twice a day it would have been a real struggle to venture out on trips.

Really enjoyed our stay here. 1 hour drive from Bergamo, plenty of parking for the 5 days we were there. Pool is heaven and was the main attraction for me, very chilled: had food by pool, there is a limited menu but what we had was very good. Breakfast was excellent, amazing views, extensive choice, good food, buffet with eggs/omelette options. Room service is offered for 20 euro if you want it. There are restaurants on both side of the hotel, accessible on foot along the lake side if you want to eat out of the hotel. Nearest ferry stop is at Padenghe, a five min walk from the rear of the hotel, but its a secondary route so has limited times/options.

There are not many places I keep going back to but Splendido Bay is one of them and since being back a few months im going back out with my family and another family again next year. Its beautiful, just outside the back gate is a jetty where my kids spent all day jumping off into the water. 10 mins away is the SUP hire place where we paddleboarded and 5 mins from the hotel is a gorgeous pizza restaurant for lunch or dinner. The staff go over and above to make your stay comfortable. Tony at the concierge helped us organise a boat for us to self drive around the whole lake and drove us to a chemist when we had a need. The restaurants met all out needs - lunch around the pool and two great restaurants in the evening. If I had one request, we'd love the pool bar to be open till 8pm so we can have a drink before dinner by the lake. And finally, being 30 mins from Verona airport you can fly in for a long weekend, de-stress and enjoy family time with great ease. Thanks Splendido. See you next May!
