A lovely hotel right beside the beach with nice gardens!! At the far end of the village close to the marina. Staff were all very obliging. Breakfast had lots of choice. Room was comfortable but lacked a kettle unfortunately

nice quiet days at the Hotel do Mar sesimbra

Very amazing.

Boa localização com uma paisagem sublime. Poderá ser confuso para algumas pessoas devido aos labirintos existentes no Hotel que faz com que se tenha de utilizar, pelo menos, dois elevadores quando se fica na parte mais antiga do hotel. Excelente piscina ao ar livre e coberta. Bom pequeno almoço.

Gostamos do atendimento, do espaço de refeição. O quarto que ficamos tem uma vista muito linda. O único ponto a melhorar seria no frigobar, é velho quando liga-o na tomada faz muito barulho. Ou seja ele tem que ficar desligado e assim não tem função. Também fomos surpreendidos com a funcionária abrindo a porta do quarto. Do mas foi ótima a experiência. Obrigado

Hotel muito bom no geral, pequeno almoço excelente, limpeza, localização e uma vista que é qualquer coisa e a simpatia e o profissionalismo dos seus funcionários, em especial da Ana [chefe da recepção]l que após ter dado solução a um problema, nunca perdeu o sorriso e a compreensão necessária ao que o lugar exige, bem haja.

Para um hotel de quatro estrelas, não esta bem classificado, quartos super desatualizados, a segurança parece ser medíocre, tenho filhos menores e não sinto que estejam bem protegidos( claro que é o nosso trabalho, no entanto comparado com hotéis pertos deste, os controlos de segurança de outros hotéis são muito melhores ) Ficamos no segundo andar, a vista não é tao bom como os andares superiores mas esse pormenor é secundário uma vez que os pisos 4 3 e 2, não se aguenta com o cheiro a mofo, o ar é literalmente irrespirável, o gerente do hotel inclusive disse se quisesse melhores quartos que reservasse directamente com eles porque se fizer com outras empresas escolher o “barato” iríamos sempre ficar nos piores quartos(ao qual eu respondi, que tentei fazer mas disseram que estava tudo cheio, por isso eu reservei através de uma agência, e paguei o que me foi pedido, não paguei o mais barato!) O estacionamento é horrível, as pessoas fazem o checkout e não tiram os carros do parque privado do hotel, quem chega depois sujeita-se aos lugares disponíveis. Mas não se preocupem, quando chegar a noite e as pessoas já tiverem jantado, vem buscar os carros para ir embora. Eu não estou descontente. Acho inédito um hotel se classificar com 4 estrelas e qualquer pensão de Sesimbra tem melhor qualidade, cama, limpeza e apresentação que este Hotel. Enfim é a gatunagem que o povo português está acostumado, a comer gato por lebre.

I really enjoyed staying at this Hotel, the room was clean staff were very friendly and helpful, and they serve the best American Style Breakfast that my Mom loved since she was celebrating her 87th Birthday.

Was here 40 years ago. Nothing much has changed except tv and wifi. Needs a little refurbish and paint. New beds and more pultes fir charging. Petty that they don’t serve breakfest on the wodden balcony anymore. Cut Down some of the trees for regaining the spectacular view.

We had a great time. There is lots to do and see around the area. The staff was wonderful. The beach is just steps away, but sometimes a lot of steps away depending on where you are in the hotel. The Outdoor and indoor pool were well kept.

We LOVED staying here. It has so many amenities, clean, staff is super friendly, reasonable price, superb breakfast buffet, and the most beautiful view of the ocean. Parking was very easy. Will stay here again in the future and would recommend to everyone.

The localization and the sightseeing are wonderfull. The hotel is old, it needs a renovation of the bedrooms. The staff was ok.

This is by far my favorite hotel experience ever! The staff was wonderful, room was perfect for us. Being able to walk right down to the beach and then also have the option for a swim in the pool was breathtaking. Also the easy access to town was so nice. Not to mention you get to look at a castle!
