イビス スタイルズ バーンズリー ホテル(Ibis Styles Barnsley)

This isn't my first stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, the customer service hasn't improved. Even ordering a simple drink from the bar was met with a frown. I stay here only because it's convenient for my business needs, but it's disappointing that the staff seems so disengaged, which leaves a negative impression. The breakfast was dry and unappetizing, almost like eating rocks. Given the standards of Ibis hotels, I'm quite shocked at the poor condition and service here.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Junction 37 of the M1. Not great for public transport access. Though there is ample free registration required parking. Parking late can be pretty hectic as hotel often used by contractors with large white vans. So be very careful parking. Breakfast was ample and varied, though when they host events the coffee station does get over-run in the morning not ideal. Staff are courteous and when my room contact card failed to activate, were helpful in resolving the problem. Rooms can get stuffy as no air-conditioning and windows when open in the rooms facing the rail line get pretty noisy with the combination of rail traffic and the the buzzing of the mechanicals in the service rooms below. There is a Toby Carvery nearby for a range of good value meals, not exceptional but okay, this also is well used adding to the parking mayhem in the shared carpark.

Nice clean hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, everything you need. I had an issue with the radiator on the first night as it just wouldn't turn off, this was quickly sorted once I told a member of staff. On my last night I couldn't get into my room with the keycard, it was already gone midnight so I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep, It took 2 trip's to reception from the top floor before this was resolved which left me quite annoyed. On my last morning I paid for breakfast, It was a little disappointing, very basic selection on the continental side and the sausages were very poor quality and couldn't eat. There is however a Toby carvery across the road where I had breakfast the day before at a cheaper price, I would recommend going there instead

The Ibis styles is a quirky funky hotel situated around 2 miles from the centre of Barnsley, this is about £4-£6 in a ride share or taxi service. Upon arriving I was met by some super friendly reception staff who quickly checked me in, even managed to get me in an accessible room having noticed I was on a mobility scooter, much appreciated for the shower in the morning. On top of this they advised on local food delivery options and allowed me to eat it in the bar area! Such a kind and accommodating gesture as it was 11pm by this point. The Rooms are spotlessly clean as pictured, spacious with big windows, all the usual in room stuff you would expect and a nice sized tv too. The beds themselves the “sweetbedz” super comfortable overall, a bit firm for my personal preference but much better than most hotels around the ibis average price. Can’t wait for the opportunity to stay again soon. The breakfast I believe was the express option, the staff where great and assisted me, one plate i found to be plenty and was a tasty way to start the day.

It is with real disappoin**ent that I have to leave a negative review but after the service we have received was appalling the customer service of some of there staff would have to be looked at if they were mine or booking was mixed up which made it look like we had only paid for 1 room for 2 with 1 breakfast which was not the case, but was hounded by staff while eating breakfast to show proof that I had paid for 2, by the time I returned my breakfast was cold so left it to then find that we had also been locked out our room so had to get one of the cleaners to sort it. The last day we'll we went down for breakfast to find it a complete nigh**are no food left no cutlery, no plates, no where to sit because there were plates, cups and rubbish everywhere 😢

商務或是旅行，都很適合。乾淨，安靜，附近有餐廳和小超市可以選擇。3樓部分角度可以遠望風景優美。旁邊有鐵道，但是過往車次不多，而且窗戶隔音不錯

We were given a quiet room when we checked in and we had a lovely nights sleep. We were having two nights away from our local home after having a lot of dusty, noisy work done. Ibis provided a little oasis of escape so thank you.
