This is a beautiful hotel and all the staff are polite and welcoming (apart from the manager who is quite rude) but they have their issues and I want to concentrate on my top three. Cleanliness of the pool area is poor. The beds are never washed down, the floor dirty and a guy at the end of the night with his mop cleans an odd bird droppings. Invest in a hosepipe and sanitiser. Disability access is available throughout the hotel with ramps ect. Until you get to the pool. A lovely area to wheel a chair into the pool directly but a bridge with steps to access it prevents use. A serious design fault. The only steps leading into the pool needs a hand rail so people with limited mobility can steady themselves going in and out. Overpriced and as a result poor value for money. The cost of items on the resort is extremely expensive and this breeds resentment. We pay a lot to stay at the resort so to charge €30 for a double sunlounger is too much, everyone is sat around the pool and the cabana are stood empty because people won’t pay that amount. Such a waste. Drinks costing €2 in a bar were €6 at the hotel. If the hotel orders you a taxi is €28 into the town, if you order an Uber it’s €9 but you have to walk to the main gate to collect it. The hotel won’t allow you to order your own taxi to the door. We worked out quite soon that having an Uber to and from a restaurant in town, having a three course meal with alcohol, was cheaper than eating at the resort. Plus there is much more vibe in the town, there is nothing for adults on the resort to do in an evening. These are the top three things that dampened our holiday, I’ve not covered all the other things. I hope the management considers this review and improves on these areas for future guests.

Beautiful ambience, extremely professional and pleasant staff. The food is delicious. An excellent place for a private vacation as well as for professional holding of congresses.

The hotel is beautiful, we received a wonderful welcome with special service. The receptionists are really nice and very welcoming. The food is very good especially the breakfast with a variety of choices. Recommended for a relaxing holiday.

We had a great time in this hotel. The location is great, Šibenik is only 10 minutes away from the hotel by car, but there is also the option of a taxi transfer. The staff were unbelievable, always smiling and providing a high quality of service, especially Maria, who made sure everything was okay during our entire stay. The resort also has a great entertainment program, every night there was a party for children, but for adults also. It was a vacation to remember, we will definitely be back.

the hotel will use any excuse to charge you extra for everything. The use of irons is not allowed inside the hotel. I had to go to a business meeting and could not iron my suit. they offer an ironing service but you have to pay for it and you have to wait 12 hours. Uber is not allowed to come to your hotel because you have to use their expensive taxi service. The restaurants inside the resort are not that good and very overpriced. you can eat much nicer meals in town for half a price.

The hotel is spacious, clean and modern. We had a sea view room with french balcony, room was big, bed comfy. Food excellent with good variety. Only thing why I didn't give 5* is because room had odour from smoking, although it is forbidden I suppose since there is no classic balcony that smokers smoke close to french balcony but it sticks to the walls and courtains. We didn't ask for different room cause we expect it is an issue in other rooms also. We were here during a heat wave and air con in the room is weak.... Those two are only things that were off. Overall the hotel and lovely and smiling staff is excellent.

I haven't written a recommendation for a long time, but after staying at this hotel, I will be happy to do so. We spent almost a week here and it's probably the coolest hotel in Croatia. Very clean, fragrant, delicious fresh breakfasts - very varied, every evening live music with a piano. And above all, kind and competent staff. First you see a smile and then a person who is always very helpful. Thank you for the great hospitality.

I very rarely write reviews but after our wonderful stay at Hotel Ivan in June, I had to. I just don't know where to begin with all the wonderful things I can say. We were greeted with a handwritten welcome note and chocolates. The room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The staff was attentive to any needs we had. They arranged car service to Sibenik center to a show at St Michael's fortress - if you can do, highly recommend. We also ate at Ethno Village in Amadria Park - really great to experience the culture of how Croatia was and the food and service was amazing. Drinks by Hotel Ivan pool were wonderful, comfortable chairs and lots of space. In the evening there was a wonderful piano player we enjoyed. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever enjoyed - you have to experience it! We were only able to stay over night but defintely plan to go back. We especially want to enjoy the spa services - we took a walk over and it is quite extensive. Highly highly recommend a stay here - we've told several of our friends and family about the place. Thank you to the wonderful staff. Keep up the great service.
