シック フォレスト シギリヤ(The Thick Forest)

如果想體驗一下樹屋、需要清新的空氣就來，如果要求舒適享受就不要來了。老闆很熱情，教我們早上五點鐘登另一座山去看日出，在陽台就可以看到獅子巖，一早坐在陽台的躺椅上聽鳥叫聲好舒服。早餐豐富，還有可愛的小松鼠出現，老闆説八點後會有小猴子來搶東西吃，遺憾的是我們沒等到。再説一下待改進的地方，房間裏沒有燒水壺，晚上温度低沒有被子，淋浴噴頭水壓不夠，希望下次來會有所改進。

Excellent place amazing tree house, beautiful views and nice people! We are two friends from Spain and we arrived from Colombo so late to the thick forest in sigiriya but the man was waiting for us all the night! I recommend you to visit this amazing place!

This is a very excellent rustic place to stay with a view of the lions rock from my treehouse room. It’s beautiful the people are friendly and warm. So fun to stay here. You can see the lions rock and the Padurangala together in one place. The thick forest is a very beautiful, serene, quiet spot, and I would love to come again .

Easy access to both sigiriya rock & pidurangala. Very calm & quite place surrounded with thick forest. The owner is very helpful to us by giving necessary informations. We got a breakfast with rotti, hoppers, breads with jam butter which gave us a mouthwatering unforgettable experience. Nice view to Sirigiya rock and Pidurangala. Grate hospitality with nice care and verbal instructions given clearly to go to Thalkote View Point and Pidurangala sunrise. Nice stay with family and breakfast was delicious.

From arrival to departure me and my wife showered with a nice gesture. Mr. Karunarathna and Mr. Nandana are very helpful to us. Mr.Karunarathne is always responsible for answering the telephone calls, it was really helpful for us to take decisions, regarding our journey. He verbally, and clearly instructed us to visit the THALKOTE Lake and watch the sunrise at pidurangala rock. We were fascinated by the great view of Sigiriya rock & Pidurangala rock temple since this place is established in a great location. You can have a sound sleep, and enjoy a delicious breakfast in this calm ambiance. We enjoyed a bike ride to the destinations too. It's noticeable that, affordable rates are matched with our budget .To sum up, THICK FOREST made our journey remarkable.We really love this amazing place and hope to visit there again.

Beautiful view of Lion Rock, tree house was very cosy and comfy, the service from the owner was amazing! Breakfast in the morning was delicious! Highly recommend for anyone wanted to have a jungle experience!

From the welcoming point to departure we felt this amazing place like our own home with different environment which is unbelievable. The lodge if completely surrounded by a thick forest and can hear bird songs from all around with the view of Sigiriya and Pidurangala from both sides of our tree house which was very clean and comfortable. Mr Karunarathna and Chef give us a fantastic service and never forget the evening bicycle ride we had to pidurangala. Food was extremely perfect and I haven’t tasted a rice and curry similar to that before. Hoping to visit the same place during my next holiday and decided to stay for three nights to explore more.

If you are a budget traveller and looking for a cozy forest hideout this is the perfect place. Karunarathne and the chef were looking after this place and they are trying their best to give the most amazing jungle hideout experience to the guests. They speak fluent English and very friendly. The place is in the foundation of the thick forest and had a perfect view of the Sigiriya rock and Pindurangala. It was only few kilometers away from this place. They have mountain bikes and staff will give directions to the destinations. Driving to this place at night is another adventure. Food was amazing and they were prompt. The only issue we had was water. It was very slow and no hot water. Other than that the place is very good. They are Eco friendly and have built the tree houses without harming the environment. Looking forward to visit this place once again soon.
