Beautiful boutique hotel, very unique. Value for the price is very good. Only little thing, the hotel next door likes to do karaoke at any time of the day ..

Tamu is quite gorgeous, simple and charming. Our jungle room was pleasant and feels very tucked-away in the undergrowth. We didn’t use the pool since it is quite small and the beach is so close. The several resorts here should do more to clean up the flotsam trash frankly. The staff are really nice and very helpful, able to organise things for you and make life easy. The area is very quiet without a ***** of bars and restaurants so it’s perfect if you’re looking for peace and seclusion.

Beautiful setting and stunning white sand beach. Clean sea- no rubbish. We stayed in a jungle glamping tent and it was better than a hotel!!!! The staff were so attentive and friendly- our one night stay turned in to 4 nights- we were sad to leave! So relaxing. Would love to come back one day. 10/10

We had an amazing stay at Tamu! It is definitely the best place to stay on the island - extremely relaxing, comfortable, clean, safe, enjoyable… only the best words for this great place and the staff! Everyone has been extra sweet, caring and attentive and made our holiday feel like heaven. Food and drinks are good too. Warmly recommend it and hope to be back some time soon.

We spent 4 nights here . We were wary about the outside bathroom before arriving but ended up loving it . My only request would be to supply a mirror in the room . Staff were so helpful for everything we needed - nothing was to much trouble . Koh Rong is beautiful unspoilt island with beautiful beach

In some ways it pains me to rate Tamu as a 3. The staff are fantastic, it has the best location on Pagoda Beach and the restaurant on sand is cool. If Tamu was the only hotel on the beach (as it used to be) then I would have upped the rating BUT it isnt : there are 6 others and Tamu is more expensive than others that look to have much better rooms / accommodation. The tents are fun to stay in for a couple of nights but constantly zipping / unzipping got a bit tedious and the outside bathroom area was not great - lots of mosquitos and various fungi that grew around the shower area and were not cleared by room staff. I definitely started to look enviously at the neighbouring hotels that had solid build rooms with large glass fronts - including Tamu's sister hotel the Anaya The Tamu restaurant was OK but the menus at other places on the beach were better. Final thought is that I would definitely recommend staying on Pagoda Beach - we went around the island and this was the best choice from what we saw

Tamu was incredible. The best place in the Island! Beatiful beach, great pool, so so great, we really loved it! The service was incredible, everyone working there was great, really comfortable and lovely! We will be back!
