グランド ホテル オルティージャ(Grand Hotel Ortigia)

很好，是個老牌五星酒店，如果選面向海景的房間就更好了，酒店離古城區很近，走路五分鐘，門口有停車場，非常方便。

Best location and great rooftop bar overlooking Ortigia

Staff was friendly, but didn't explain things clearly.

We spent 10 days in Sicily and decided to book 4 days at The Grand Hotel Ortigia over Christmas. It was a great decision. Ortigia takes Christmas seriously with great street and shop decorations and most of the restaurants are still open throughout the holiday. In the hotel we had a room with a sea view, and if you can afford the upgrade it’s really worth it, watching the activity in the harbour and on the sea front is fascinating. The Grand offered a seriously good Christmas lunch served by a great team of staff in the rooftop restaurant - excellent fish courses, with wines, with an unhurried service. Just brilliant. If a Christmas trip to Sicily is in your plans I can’t recommend The Grand highly enough.

We were so prepared to love this hotel particularly as the hotel was recommended by our relative who is an exec at Tripadvisor (started and located in our home town of Newton. Massachusetts. It looked lovely when we entered, a nicely designed building in an excellent location… But the service was very unwelcoming. There was a party going on all night right above our room with loud music and dancing and we could not sleep the entire night. When we called the front desk… if they answered at all they said it would be over in 10 minutes. When we spoke to the manager the next day… no apology -the response was “ We thought the party would go on until midnight. We didn’t know it would go on until 2 or 3 AM.” What kind of well managed hotel would not advise their guests that there would be a disco going on above their heads all night long so that they could change rooms or change hotels? Extremely disappointing for this caliber of hotel which is rated 5 stars and is very expensive. Go to one of the charming smaller hotels where you are sure to have a better experience than the Grand Hotel Ortigia.

Palacio antiguo frente al mar, bellamente decorado! Recuerdos de la bella epoque!! Ahora la habitación que yo reserve no fue la asignada. No queríamos habitación con escalera interior y eso fue la que nos dieron! Fui a la recepcion y me dijeron que debía regresar proximo día para ver disponibilidad! Poco serio! Hay que solicitar con vista al mar y sin escalera! Restaurante en la terraza que no esta a la altura del Hotel! Trajeron la comida fria y debimos devolverla! No es barato!

abbiamo scelto questa location per una cena per festeggiare una ricorrenza famigliare. la serata e’ stata superiore ad ogni aspettativa per garbo e professionalità dello staff per la qualità e raffinatezza delle portate e per la ricercatezza della mise en place, il tutto immerso nell’incantevole panorama offerto dalla terrazza. consigliatissimo ci torneremo sicuramente

Posizionato all'interno dell'area di Ortigia, con una vista mozzafiato. Dotato di comodo parcheggio riservato. Nella terrazza con vista sul golfo, il Ristorante è veramente TOP per qualità e servizio. Momenti unici da assaporare, la mattina durante la colazione e la sera a cena.

The Grand Hotel Ortigia is an elegant and yes, grand hotel on the harbor in Ortigia. After some initial confusion with the front desk about the type of room we'd reserved, my spouse and I settled in to a deluxe room that was spacious and well designed with hooks for jackets, ample space for suitcases, and lots of room to put things. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Fortunato. The housekeepers deserve special mention for twice daily trips into the room to keep it immaculate. Breakfast was a feast of delights on the top floor overlooking the harbor. The location is excellent for exploring both Ortigia and crossing the bridge into Siracusa. The Grand Hotel has spoiled us for future stays in hotels!
