ミナレート(Minareto)

A resort type hotel in form of brick bungalow in Europe. It comes with a private pier where you could board on a comfortable boat going to Ortigia (the old town) in half an hour. The landscape there looks so gorgeous that anyone who lives in this hotel should miss it. It also has a private beach which can be accessed through a private tunnel which is quite interesting. Overall, a very beautiful resort overlooking the ortigia with very friendly services and 5-star facilities.

I would say it is one of the top hotels in Siracusa, location is about 15min ride from ortigia island but the hotel it self is great private beaches great service, very quiet and spacious. Regretted to only stay one night. Recommended.

Spectacular view from room across the bay to Ortiga day & lights at night . Staff friendly beautiful Sicilians & they all spoke English as our Italian is embarrassingly poor ! Breakfast on the terrace looking over cove & beach . Taxi boat to Ortiga in the day .

I was fortunate enough to be invited to a conference at the Minareto. The setting is fantastic, with the old city of Sircusa just across the water with Mt Etna snow, smoke and all in the background behind the old city. There are multiple outdoor gathering places for mixers or meals. The staff was highly attentive particularly Desk agent Luca. Kudos to Chef Francesco who took extra care to make sure that dietary needs were addressed in the most tasty and satisfying way possible. What a great setting and a wonderful hotel for a destination conference like the one I was attending, or for locals gathering for a special event.

I attended a conference with colleagues and friends (April 4-8, 2024). Great hotel, beautiful location, and attentive personnel. Just 15 min drive from the city of Siracusa and Ortigia Island. I definitely recommend. When I get back I will plan to tour the island and discover all the other beautiful cities.

Fantastic stay in a dreamy location. We were here for a conference and could not have wished for a better location. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food. Stunning view towards ortigia and private beach. P.S. I loved that they show you around in golf carts :D

Absolutely stunning setting! Stayed at the Minareto during four days for a conference in April and was blown away by the beautiful resort, service and food. The villas are beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The views from the restaurant and terrace are gorgeous and the private beach is nice! We enjoyed every minute!

Very beautiful luxury hotel. One of the few places where You get really more than what you pay for. Extremely good service, beautiful design, friendly staff. Cannot find any negative thing even if I wanted to. We enjoyed every single moment of our stay.

Absolutely stunning hotel with beautifully landscaped grounds. The hotel has incredible views over to Ortigia and a direct boat taxi. The beach stunning and private. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool also superb. A really relaxing and decadent fortnight. Would love to go back!
