ヴィラ コルティーネ パレス ホテル(Villa Cortine Palace Hotel)

Nice hotel, super beautiful garden, above average food (not super excellent as you would expect here) BUT very disappointing experience! We have ordered the most expensive room with a rate of 1000EUR/night from which 300EUR/night was for the jacuzzi included. Jacuzzi was however very cold and simply did not work. The explanation was that there was too cold outside for this jacuzzi and therefore need higher temperature so that it works properly. Very original explanation which basically means that the jacuzzi works only in the summer :) At this point one would expect that they refund you 300EUR/night without any discussion however after 4 weeks of waiting I was offered a voucher with the explanation that they are not able to refund you the money. THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN IN THE MOST LUXURY AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE HOTEL IN THE AREA WITH RATE of 1000EUR/NIGHT! Enjoy the hotel, don't pay for the jacuzzi which is useless and in case of any problem you will be offered voucher and not refund.

A beautiful hotel set in incredible grounds and although we stayed in a basic room without a balcony it still had an amazing view, beautiful luxurious bed linen and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was fantastic, we also ate lunch when we arrived and both pasta dishes were delicious. On the whole the staff were fantastic not sure if someone on the front desk was having a bad day when we arrived but I found them the least helpful we had booked a boat ride through the hotel prior to our stay and I had to ask them twice what the arrangements were for it. They didn’t tell us where we were to have breakfast the following morning or give any information about the pool and pool towels. If I were to give one criticism it would be the plastic drinking glasses left in the room for water and in the bathroom, not what I’d expect at this level of a hotel.

What a nightmare! Turned off air conditioning during our entire stay (7 days out of 9) , and we had to keep windows closed because of lots of mosquitoes willing to enter. Room temperature reached 30°C (85°F) at night as a consequence. Couldn’t sleep well during our entire stay. Management offered a bigger room, which was much nicer, but problem persisted, of course The property is beautifully, well maintained, well located, and breakfast is good. As a compensation, air conditioning doesn’t work, there’re mosquitoes, flies, bees all over, and some employees (not all of them), won’t give a s… about you.

A romantic weekend away absolutely blown away by the hotel. Beautiful views and surroundings. Staff friendly and very helpful.

one of the most peaceful and beautiful hotels I've ever visited with charming private gardens and pathways to relax and dream. the room was clean and comfortable. restaurant dinner was excellent. staff friendly and very accommodating. all in all a marvelous stay. the arrival adds a bit of challenge and adventure as one drives through a pedestrian zone to get to the hotel's hidden gated entrance. all around a most wonderful stay.

The rooms are beautiful, and the grounds and view are amazing. Staff is helpful and friendly. Room service is delicious and fast, when they made a mistake on my pasta sauce they when over the top to make it right. My husband ordered the burger twice because it was so good. Town is in walking distance.

Luxury all the way! Our room was spacious and had a wrap-around balcony. The grounds are gated and private. Beautiful to walk around inside and a quick walk to Scaligero Castle and the Grottoes. Breakfast every morning was lovely, and the coffee was the best we had on our while trip! The won't provide an iron or clothes steamer so be sure to pack a travel steamer that can handle European voltage.

There is no doubt that the grounds and views are glorious. Unfortunately, they are trading on this heavily. The first evening we dined in the bistro. We waited over an hour and ten minutes for our meals, and when it arrived the spaghetti vongole wasn’t cooked. It set the tone for service across the five days of our stay, which were supposed to be the most luxurious of our honeymoon. The food in general was poor, pizza was good. The breakfast selection was excellent for fruit/ pastries and cereals, poor for hot food. The eggs royale/ Benedict were claggy and cold. One evening we ordered room service, just two portions of chips and two scoops of ice cream- 32euros for from the freezer fries. The minibar in the room wasn’t well stocked and we would expect better toiletries/ pillows in a five star hotel. A couple of the staff were super, the pool team were great. Again though, when you have many guests around the pool, there should be someone walking round every 30 mins to see if they would like bar service. It feels as though the management team are complacent, it’s just not good enough to be charging what they are. Of the three hotels we’ve stayed at so far, it’s the one we wouldn’t return to. No request for feedback from the hotel after the stay either which speaks volumes. Suggest the management team try Chateau Montfort in Milan to discover what true 5* service is.

Wowww where do we start! What an amazing place, I surprised my wife for her Birthday with a 3 night stay and we were not disappointed. The Hotel, pool and all the facilities couldn't of been better. The service was second to none from the moment we arrived until getting into the transport to depart. ( staff even ran out with a bag with cold water for our journey ) The hotel grounds and gardens are beautiful and so well maintained, we made the mistake of not fully exploring this until the day before we left but made the most of it soon as we discovered some hidden gems and some very romantic spots. The pianist has to have a mention as I could of sat there for hours listening to him play. Room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and couldn't ask for anymore ohh and the treats are very nice to 😁 The service we received along with a beautiful location, stunning views and top class service made the is trip truly amazing and I have a very happy wife. We will be back next year 💯
