ヴィラ クリスティーナ(Villa Christina)

Poor description of the accommodation. One "room" was actually a hallway with no windows or a/c and no bed to sleep on, just a small sofa which doesn't even pulls out. Bedroom was fine. Please note that this place is VERY NOISY at night as the owner operates the bar next to the pool. Almost all rooms are facing the bar. You won't sleep till 2 a.m. or longer. Lots of alcohol, laud laughing, screaming of drunk guests... Food was ok.

I don't normally leave reviews but our say was not the best. When we first arrived all looked OK as the day's went by things got worse for example. My husband had to kneel down in the bath to shower as it was attached to the bath. We didn't get any clean towels the whole time we were there even tho I asked if we could have fresh ones. The mattress had a smell and was uncomfortable. The pool was dirty never seen it get cleaned . The food was OK but expensive and very limited. It's also on quite a steep hill and some bits were not good underfoot. Overall I would not recommend this place needing updated or closed down.

The owner was a lovely guy very friendly on arrival and couldn’t do enough. Gave daughter free cocktail but put it on tab ! But the place in daylight in very dated. The hill to the hotel is advertised as a bit steep really not for the unhealthy it’s a real hard slog. The pathway to the beach a mountain trek downhill quite dangerous in places. The drain in our bathroom absolutely stank the bathroom out to the point where I had to use the public loo because the smell was disgusting at times.To be honest he offered us another room but it was our last night. My daughter got ill with bug(not from hotel) so I asked for some toast which I was charged 5 euros for 2 crust ends of bread. Our check out was at 10.30am pick up for flight was 7pm so went to beach for the day when returned asked if there was a shower room to wash and change told no use the sink in toilet as no spare rooms even though it was only quarter full. The young waiter bar man was lovely chap. Deffo not returning

We loved our stay pool was kept lovely, it’s deeper than it looks. Surroundings where stunning very chilled- lots of greenery and lots of sun. Rooms were very spacious and a gorgeous big balcony. It’s true what they say the pizzas and carbonara are the best. We arrived and had great banter with elena from day one , great personality we had some good laughs 👍🏽 I hope you are all doing ok after that terrible storm “Daniel” And things are getting back to normal. Deo the bar man was great too always happy to help and have a chat - I hope elena drank her drink I gave her 😂 Take care guys Love Michael , danny, Katie and Richie

I don't generally leave reviews but feel I need to on this one. There are a few negatives for me for Villa Cristina. The walk down the lane is a short 20 minute walk, it was pleasant enough but the walk back up was difficult and I consider myself to be fit and healthy, the short walk to the beach through the forest was also doable for myself but there were members of my party that wouldn't have made it down or up. Obviously there is an option for taxis but would definitely recommend car hire if you're travelling with children or less able adults. The rooms were a bit outdated and could have been a little bit cleaner. BUT Villa Christina is located in a beautiful setting and has beautiful gardens, for me if Villa Cristina could be picked up and put in a beach side location it would be my go to place. The food at Villa Cristina is absolutely amazing and Helenas pizzas are beautiful 😋 I also disagree with the comments about Helana being rude, she was very accommodating , She has a very dry sense of humour, which should be taken lightly. The barman Dio was also very accommodating. Overall, if we had hired a car it would have made our holiday a lot better but that's our problem for not taking notice of the hotels description.

I have had a wonderful stay in Villa Christina. All workers are kind and go the extra mile. My room has been cleaned throughly daily and I had a lovely balcony with a fantastic view. I have been coming to Skiathos for many years and this is by far the nicest place I have stayed. Please ignore comments complaining about the hospitality and rooms, my findings have been that many guests do not seem to read into the Villas exact location before booking. Yes there is a 15 min walk but it is really not that difficult if you are able and is actually nice to walk off a big meal. The bus stop is just at the bottom of the road as is the shop, but there is no need to carry heavy things such as bottles of water as they sell bulk packs at the Villa bar. The walk to the beach is also most pleasant. I travelled solo this year and it’s been wonderful to sit at the bar and chat with Miltos, Helena and Dion on the evenings. I felt very safe in this accommodation, the area is quiet and peaceful at night time. I will absolutely be returning!

The staff are really friendly and the owners can not do enough to please you I have been coming here 5 years and love it Everything is clean and cared for and the villas are situated very central to all the nice beeches It is very child friendly with the pool being very clean Overall I can highly recommend staying here

Very dated up a massive hill not self catering bar was dearest on island by far and not friendly just money orientated captive audience pool falling apart missing tiles sub standard air con and shower dreadful would never return ever

Very dated apartment fridge was an ice berg and took us 4 days to get a toaster not a a self catering holiday as advertised no way nearest supermarket a mile away down a massive hill walking back was a nitemare in the heat would never return 15 euro to get a taxi rooms were dated and Aircon never worked for more than 5 mins been to Greece many times there was only 2 things on menu Greek the pool was nice apart from crumbling tiles if came back to skiathos no way I would stay here
