Storfjord Hotel

I had the most incredible stay at Storfjord Hotel. The serene location surrounded by breathtaking nature views was truly a treat for the senses. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The rooms were cozy and beautifully decorated, and the food at the restaurant was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious retreat in Norway.

Being from the area it is only natural to feel that it is a bit pricey. But the rooms are huge and the bathrooms are really really nice and has good amenities. Food was decent enough despite the staff leaving bacon bits in my food despite me clearly saying i dont eat meat. But the location is incredible and the staff was really friendly and attentive.

Lovely hotel & ideal Christmas stay. Lovely room, lounges etc. Good food but would've liked the occasional special because after 2 days, I'd eaten what I could from the a la carte & it became repetitive. Alesund is a shortish drive & think the hotel could organise the odd return shuttle there which guests could share. It was Christmas & whilst we had a car, various guests commented they wanted to visit Alesund but a taxi on their own was overpriced. But overall lovely place & will return.

I was here with work to see the hotel and to check activities. I heard so much amazing regaring this hotel and it was even better than my imagination. Relaxation, luxury, great service and would hav loved to stay longer. Will come back!

This place is magnificent!! The hotel itself is lovely…beautiful suites, beautiful communal rooms and restaurant. The setting is quiet, serene, and flat out stunning. We were there in February, and I felt like I was in Narnia. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was quite good. I would go back to the Storfjord in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent service. Cosiest atmosphere. Real candle lights on all tables. Jazz music playing in the morning. Two fireplaces also in the dining room. Spectacular views. Friendly and personal service. This is the real Norwegian experience.

We loved the remote location of the hotel - driving up the road in the woods when you come upon the hotel it’s as if you reached little slice of Norwegian heaven! The hotel design and its grounds are spectacular - modern flair with traditional Norwegian design intertwined. The rooms were oversized and so comfortable - so much attention to detail throughout - with design and efficiency. Leaving you wanting for nothing more! All in all the hotel made it difficult to leave in order to enjoy all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. The hot tub with a view was a wonderful way to end the day. The food was excellent both breakfast and dinner - served in a spectacular dining room and all dishes prepared with such attention to detail and amazing local ingredients. The staff was incredible - highly professional while being caring, helpful. The staff went out of their way to make sure to care for all your needs during ur stay.

We spent 6 nights at Hotel Storfjord in October and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel was beautiful, the amenities superb, the views incredible, and the staff outstanding. Siri, Andrea, Chrystal and so many other staff members were remarkably friendly, courteous and very helpful. Siri particularly went out of her way and spent a great deal of time with us helping to map out driving directions, sightseeing and daily events. She was vital to the success of our trip. The food is excellent and both breakfast and dinner at the hotel are highly recommended. We had multi course gourmet meals on 5 of the nights and the food and wine pairings were fantastic. The sauna and spa are very nice and luxurious. We Have recommended Hotel Storfjord to many friends and will definitely return in the future.

A wonderful Christmas stay at this beautiful and cosy hotel. Thanks to the whole team, especially Marta, Emil, Linda and Alma, as well as the restaurant team, for making it a perfect stay. Wonderful views and plenty of spaces to enjoy with a drink, along with a fabulous massage and hot tub and sauna with a view. Can’t wait to return.
