What a great place to stay. The view from the pool and bar across Skopelos Town was amazing, which you never tired of. The pool was new this year and a great addition. Would highly recommend as a great place to stay. It was a short walk into town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Staff were happy to run you into town if you needed and always helpful.

Aparments are situated at the furthest point of Skopelos bay, which you can see from the satellite, the gradient up to the hotel is very steep and not suitable for those with mobility or breathing problems. A lot of money has recently been spent on the exterior infinity pool and surroundings, but the rooms are quite dated and in particular the showers do not work properly and need a major update, along with the units and fittings. There has also been a bad odour reported from the drainage in some rooms. If the rooms in the top blocks are refurbished we are sure it will be a great venue. The Manager and the bar Staff in particular, were very polite and helpful in terms of port transfers, friendliness and general information. It should also be said that if it rains the breakfast area is closed due to an open rattan roof. This can happen a lot in September, It’s then served though the kitchen hatch. The venue also hosts, whilst guests are present a Christening party which went on until 3.00am, un acceptable for paying clientele. Overall however, it was a satisfactory experience, but probably not one to be repeated.

We stayed here for 1 week early July in a Junior Suite. The whole place is stunning, amazing views, lovely rooms, the staff are very attentive, particularly Anestis who pops up like Mr Benn as if by magic at any time of day or night. Nothing was too much trouble, he picked us up from the Ferry port and dropped us back off at the end of the week. He helped us hire a car locally at a very competitive price and gave us sound advice throughout the holiday. The new Pool Bar wasn't finished when we were there which was a shame but honestly it looked so fantastic we felt like we can't wait to go back to try it out. There are some more rooms being built too but they are set back from the Hotel and didn't inconvenience us at all. I'm really picky about hotels and my wife is twice as bad as me but we loved it so 5 stars all the way. A few things to consider though. 1. It's at the far end of the resort so it's a 5 minute walk to the first bar, 10 minutes to the middle and 20 minutes to the other end of the bay. The trade off is its beautifully tranquil and scenic. 2. Skopelos is very hilly, it all slopes up from the sea and Evlalia is no exception. It's a small, sharp incline to get to the Hotel from the sea front and another small, sharp incline to get to the Pool and breakfast area. If hills trouble you then don't go to Skopelos! 3. The junior suites are open plan. Not much modesty to be had in the shower. Didn't bother us but bear it in mind. 4. (I'm being picky now but) the sunbed umbrellas have string holes in them so they're not much good for shade but there are plenty of shaded areas to sit if you're hot. All in all, a great experience and we'll be back next year. A truly beautiful place to visit.
