The room is spacious and the beds were comfortable. You have a mini fridge, iron and a few hangers to hang your clothes. The minuses to the room are the bathroom sink is located in the main room, so if you get up in the middle of the night you wake up the others. Also if you stay street side, which we did, you can hear the traffic from the main road.Also the door in-between the hallways did not close properly, anyone can gain access to the room doors. The lounge area is updated and comfy space for appies and cocktails.

No good service in the bar. He got the wrong order. And front desk lady wasn't great in the morning 30 th jan.

Rick at the bar and Gary (I believe his name is) in the kitchen are the nicest people we have ever encountered. Loved this hotel. Our room had 3 queen beds. Which is unheard of. Perfect for a girls trip.

Room size was good for a family of 6, had to call front desk because heater wasn’t working. It’s been renovated but still feels and smells old.

Wonderful stay.,Serenity at the front desk was lovely- great coffee including cold brew and local apples:very spiffy room, comfy king bed - handicapped bars on toilet. Great shower great soaps and creams , lovely hot tub and heated pool till 10 pm. Received delicious free breakfast at Olsen’s bakery next door. Good location.

First off the 3 stars is based on the description of the room which stated King with city view. This was not the case. The room faced the backyard of a house with two large dogs that barked a little when we went out to the balcony. Thankfully I love dogs and they did not bark during the night. I did complain about the view not being as described and I was told that it was considered a city view. They did try to move us to an actual city view but it did not have a balcony which we preferred. Other than that the room was quiet, clean, and decent. The staff was friendly. For the price we paid it was decent. I would still recommend this place to friends and family.

5 stars for cleanliness, 2 to 3 stars for setup. I understand you don't have a category for setup, but I feel it's important enough to bring up. By setup I'm referring to how things like light switches, wash basins, etc. are layed out. I also understand that compromises must have played a large part in the design of the rooms. The biggest issue for me was the location of the light switch for the wash basin, and for the life of me couldn't understand why it was on the wall behind you as one is using the basin instead of it being immediately to one's right on the wall with the electical outlets.

Amazing. This hotel has the best shower pressure out of any place we've stayed. The whole place was fantastic and in the heart of Solvang. I forgot to ask for an upgrade (if they had any) being a gold member, but we very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a room with a balcony & it was a quiet retreat from the hustle & bustle in town. We also enjoyed the happy hour at the lounge. Every Staff member we encountered was more that friendly & helpful!
