Super 8 by Wyndham St Charles

I was surprised by the obvious maintenance improvements. Wyndham's ownership shows. I didn't realize they owned Super 8. Pleasant stay.

Our check in experience was good, the gentleman at the counter was friendly. Other than that, the lobby smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. When we came in with our luggage there was a strong smell of ****. We didn’t say anything and just went straight to our room. Once inside the room, it was clean but our reservation was for 2 queen beds and we were given a room with 2 full beds. I was going to say something but when I went back out to the front it was a different worker and he was not as nice as the first one. There were also a lot of kids running around and I got the impression they weren’t guests but children of the workers. It was a very odd situation and we kinda felt uncomfortable but needed a place to stay for the night so we just stayed in room we were given. Will not be staying here again!!!

Clerk at check-in was friendly and helpful. Lobby was small and kind of outdated. Bed was comfortable. Desk chair and carpet were stained. Coffee wasn't very good. Good variety of restaurants nearby.

The room was clean. The elevator was working. The bed was comfortable. And the environment was quiet. I had peace of mind and a good night of rest.

They accommodated our request for a first floor room. Room was very clean and comfortable. Just freeway noise, and since we were passing through with no knowledge of the area....

Staff is friendly and very accommodating. This is not our first visit to this hotel. We use this hotel often.

Good place to stay on budget. Clean Room and quick service. Nice restaurant next door.

Stayed here for an overnight getaway with my boyfriend. Definitely a great place to go when on a budget! ( Can find deals on *******) Room was very nice! ( But for the stains on ceiling from something leaking) The king size bed was very comfy to sleep on! And the worker at the front desk was really nice ! Let us borrow a cork screw opener for the wine we bought from a store. Will definitely come back when we are looking for a nice but inexpensive room to stay in!

Took some time to wait for checkin however once the process started it was fast friendly and efficient. The room itself was clean and had everything for a 1 night stay. The bed was very firm and u comfort (lumpy) neither I nor my hunsband slept well. Breakfast was a skip. We checked it out and there was no options. Toast eggs cereal. Didnt look fresh. However the area around the hotel has a lot of great breakfast options. So all in all for the price it coule be better but a lot worse. 1 night stay ok! 2 nights nope!
