Wir waren als Ehepaar auf der Suche nach einem zentral liegenden Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub in Stade. Nach längerer Suche und Vergleichen im Internet fiel unsere Wahl auf das Hotel Widukind. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht und unsere Erwartungen wurden teilweise sogar übertroffen. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum und alles Sehenswerte ist in Fußgängerreichweite. Zudem gibt es eine Tiefgarage zu einem moderten Preis. Im Stadtzentrum gibt es mit Ausnahme von etwas entfernt liegenden Parkhäusern keine Langzeitparkplätze. Restaurants sind in der Umgebung zahlreich und bieten für jeden Geschmack und Geldbeutel etwas. Das Hotelfrühstück ist reichhaltig und von guter Qualität. Die Hotelzimmer sind sauber, geräumig und vor kurzem wohl saniert. Schließlich sei noch erwähnt, dass in der Tiefgarage auch Fahrräder sicher abgestellt werden können. Wir empfehlen das Hotel gerne weiter und würden es wieder wählen.

Nice hotel direct in the center of the Stade, with very good service and room equipments. Breakfast selection is also very good, staff very friendly and rooms are absolutely clean and modern.Only small mentioning about the windows isolation quality..if you are situated to the street, where cars are riding on the cats heads, it is quite noisy...but it didn't woke me up during the night..

The Widukind provides a friendly atmosphere in a quiet location in the old town of Stade. It is close to the beautiful old churches, houses as well as restaurants and cafes. I have been staying in the hotel for short 3-5 day breaks on a regular basis for several years.

Good location with carpark in basement. Rooms / beds / breakfast are ok.

We had an excellent experience in this nice hotel located close to the city center, which makes it ideal to visit the Christmas Market The service was good and the breakfast was excellent. The parking in the hotel basement was also nice. All in all, a very successful Christmas trip to Stade which could warmly recommend.

We had a great trip for German Christmas markets, slept in Stade with a 1hour train trip from Hamborg. This hotel was great and had everything needed. Location was in the city centre and located right at the shopping streets. In Stade there was also a Christmas markets which was very lovely. Breakfast was great had what you would wish for (except pancakes) and Anna whom was at work when we were therewas brillant, smiling and always had the breakfast stocked up. Parking was easy In the basement for a fee a night.

Great hotel ! Spent a night there for a business trip ! very friendly staff and was very helpful to arrange transportation ! The staff is very courteous and smiling ! Comfortable bedding and yummy breakfast !
