Beautiful! Food was delicious & good value for money. I had paella - very tasty. My husband had venison & thought it delicious. You can see how old some parts of the place are. Comfortable, cosy & well maintained with decent facilities. Would recommend .

Is it the oldest pub/ tavern / inn…..discuss ‍♀️. Any how’s, enjoyed the Guinness and ambience and talking about the history of the pub and connection to witches ‍♀️. Very well done out and easy to get to especially when you are staying next door in a rented cottage

Great location on the main drag in a quaint old building. I spent (2) nights and my room was cozy and the breakfast was delicious! The only problem I had was they were extremely busy and I felt a bit stressed when talking to the employees for help touring the area and in general.

Lovely Pub, comfortable stay, delicious food. Welcoming staff. The menu has traditional dishes and some less traditional - gastro-pub dishes - but even the new fangled dishes are comforting and full-bodied tasty as traditional pub grub.

The food was average nothing better than your normal local pub but heavily overpriced. The worst part was the customer service - it was extremely poor. They said they were fully booked however most of the restaurant was free the whole 2 hours we were in there. I would not recommend this place for a couple having a romantic evening.

Good location, lovely room and decent service. However our stay was let down by a disappointing dinner. Food was poor, the wagu beef burger was very clearly a defrosted cheap burger from Iceland or equivalent with a cardboard texture. Starters were also defrosted cooked blandly. Pork riblets weren't even warm.

Our stay at the Porch House Arrived on Friday afternoon for a two night stay for a wedding. Parking is difficult, three spaces at the rear of the hotel, one of which was occupied by a skip. On-street parking outside the front and on nearby roads is hit and miss, you takes your chance! Not the hotel’s fault, Had dinner on Friday night, food was good and service prompt. Had a few drinks in the bar, interrupted by water leaking through the ceiling! Room was small but adequate, bed was comfortable, shower room was tiny. Saturday’s breakfast- we were surprised that there was no cereal or orange juice, we were offered apple juice or water. Opted for the full English, good accompanied by plenty of toast! Sunday’s breakfast, still no cereal but at least the orange juice had appeared. Hardworking staff all worked hard, thank you!

We attended the Porch House for a birthday meal. Staff were great, soo friendly and professional. Service was great and prompt. However, the burger and duck seemed over cooked and quite chewy which was a bit disappointing. However, we had a great time in the bar where we continued our evening and would definitely be back again for drinks :).

Superb, authentic, Cotswold pub, with the architecture to reflex its centuries of modification. The quality of the food was outstanding and, with the Winter Wonderland deal, exceptionally good value for money. The staff were both professional and friendly. We will be returning.
