Sunderland City Centre

Visited Sunderland to see a show at the Empire Stadium, hotel very handy and a few minutes walk away from the theatre. We arrived by train and the hotel was around a 10minute walk away. Staff friendly, room clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was good which plenty of options.

Car park now run by “Your Parking Space” Was previously £10 per night. Now £16 per night. There is a multi storey nearby for £7. Parking will soon cost more than a room! Hotel OK, staff nice, breakfast poor. The nearby Travelodge or even Holiday Inn is now better value.

This hotel is ideal for a visit to Sunderland Theatre as it’s only approximately a minute walk to the theatre. I found the hotel from my experience was what I’ve come to expect from Premier clean, restful and courteous staff. We only went basically for the theatre so didn’t really explore the city but did find a couple of good pubs.

We had an amazing stay room was lovely and clean and the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave. Best nights sleep ever so quiet We had dinner in the evening the food was amazing all tho we had a little delay due to kitchen being super busy and only two staff working, we can’t fault them at all they were absolutely amazing and so welcoming big shout out to two staff Luke and Michelle both lovely people and looked after us will definitely stay again

Good for relaxing break. Close to Metro and buses. Quiet room. Black out curtains effective. Mattress comfortable. Soap and shampoo dispensers full. Plenty of plug sockets. Key card worked perfectly. Felt safe. Staff friendly. Didn't use the car parking facilities but I did see window glass on pavement near a parked vehicle behind the hotel.

The bed was comfy, tea and coffee in the toom, room was very clean, had shower gel hand-wash and fresh towels, Check in was fast, fab hotel for a great price for our theatre break. The location is great, it's neat the empire theatre and all of the bars
