GM Eksi was a step away to get us started on our great Movenpick experience once more. It was all hearts, from each and every one we met from the ground floor More Lounge to the 21st, the Patito on 7th. Executive Chef Vanda was there in person to attend to us, whipping up the best meals we've had this trip, ensuring the right level of sweetness or saltiness, just right smoothness and spiciness; perfect as perfection should be. HM Lucky Idris was not far behind to add cheers to every encounter, making light every conversation. And, our room on the 21st was magnificent; couldn't ask for more - every amenity of creature comfort was there - comfortable bed, long bath, mini bar, you name it, they gave it. Through every detail, the heart shows; every greeting, personal and close by name, not from one member, but by every staff that came our way. Clear as daylight, this Accor Movenpick property is all hearts 💕. We were all welled up in our hearts. Thank you, Ibu Eksi; thank you, Pak Lucky, Pak Vanda; thank you, Ibu Amalia. You gave us a fulfilling close to our six days in East Jawa. Be assured we'll be back for more Hearts. Don't lose heart, if we take a little longer to come. Blessings.

The Receptions not really friendly, but the other staffs are really helpfull. The breakfeast was great, but the pool is cold, maybe it will be perfect if the pool come with warm water. The picture of ballerina in the room and hall make the ambience little bit spooky.

My stay at the Shangri La Surabaya was nice. I visited for two nights on business. Before I arrived, they had arranged transport from the airport which was incredibly efficient and easy. When I arrived, I was given a room on the 17th floor which is the top floor. It wasn't bad but could do with some updates to make it look more modern. The bed was comfortable and a good size, although there were a few scuffs here and there. The bathroom was small but had all of the essentials that you would need - however, both the shower door and floor could have been cleaned to a higher standard. The hotel is located in central Surabaya which made it easy to access shops and restaurants nearby. I had access to their Horizon Club lounge on the 12th floor that offers delicious breakfast service with nice views of the city skyline. Overall, my stay at Shangri La Surabaya was very enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else who's looking for something luxurious yet budget friendly in this part of Indonesia. The service provided by staff was top-notch and they did an amazing job making sure my stay went smoothly all throughout my visit. The gym and pool are nice features if you want to sweat and relax
