ミミ カルペ(Mimi Calpe)

Mimi Calpe is most enchanting and beautiful private house which I was lucky enough to hear about and is perfectly situated in Tangier to explore the city. Everything is walking distance. The manger Youssef couldn't have been more amenable and helpful. The food was exquisite the hamman and massage divine and the bedrooms have the most comfortable high quality bedlinen Ive ever had in a hotel. its a gem of a place.

Charming hotel very individually styled and in a super convenient location. The rooms are very comfortable and well equiped. We enjoyed our stay, especially since on the one day it was pouring with the rain the heating worked. everyone was super friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Can definitely recommend! The dinner, soup, tangine, desert, was fine albeit overpriced.

The thing we appreciated most were the staff. The manager and his small team were incredibly helpful. Our baggage was delayed (we thought lost). The manager tried calling the airline for us every day (it was Air Arabia, they weren't helpful and didn't pick up) but he kept trying. We wanted to change room too and again it was no problem. Breakfasts were delicious. The hotel was comfortable and stylish with lovely art on every wall. It's not uber luxury but it's classy and comfy and that's all we ever want, really.

The Villa is even more magical in person than what I had imagined after viewing photos online. Walking through the doors felt as if I was stepping back in time into a peaceful garden oasis. But what really made the stay special was the outstanding hospitality of each person who welcomed me there. A million thanks, I cannot wait to visit again and would recommend Mimi Calpe to everyone.

A garden oasis with accommodating manager and chef. Dinner and breakfast were very good! It is a wonderful old home with a beautiful garden! But because it is an old home there are few plugs for charging devices and the late night road noise from a half block away could be heard. Bring ear plugs.

I is a magic place. the house and the garden are beautiful. It is also nice and clean, with very friendly staff. We enjoyed a nice meal the first night. I can recommend this place if you are in Tangier. It is very close to the beach where you can go for a run and a swim.

The property is absolutely charming. I was afraid the garden wouldn’t be as lush and green as the pictures, our trip being in February, but it was impossibly beautiful and fragrant with orange blossoms and many other plants on bloom that I didn’t know. Pictures just don’t do justice! The highlight of my whole Morocco trip was Mimi Calpe’s playful and absolutely heart throbbing, lap sitting cat Simone. Very well cared for. The staff were genuinely nice, honest , hard working and friendly. I am so sorry I don’t know them all by their names to thank them, hats off to Kareem, our very nice friend. We would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler looking to stay in an establishment with character, conveniently located and enjoyable. If you are sensitive to noise do not book the Jardin suit or any rooms facing the street, or bring wax ear plugs though. We are just longing to get back to Mimi Calpe. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable.

what a magical place, full of history and character! its very well situated, very close to the centre but far enough to be calm. the best thing about the place are the staff! great engaging people and the food is also very good. Beautiful spaces and an oasis in the city. please count on the staff to advise you on what to do. will return!

Tranquil haven with a very personal feel. Thoughtful design and comfortable rooms make it very special. Lovely garden with excellent views over the bay. Easy access to Corniche and medina. Would always be my choice when staying in Tangiet
