ザ ワイン ヴァイン(The Wine Vine Hotel)

The Wine Vine has recently been taken over and renovated, previously it may have been known as the Barossa Hotel. There are 40 rooms and it is situated neatly along with everything else on Murray Street in Tanunda. Slightly concealed below the large bench in the Reception area was Prahb, the General Manager; she was very welcoming and open to feedback. The room itself was large, fairly standard but had most things you need for a short stay. We found it to be clean and quite comfortable. The bed was a little firm for my liking, and the pillows were thin - it may pay to bring your own if you are particular about this. The shower room was probably double the size of a 'generous' alcove. This room needed some painting finished, a ceiling fan and some more hooks or shelves installed. I booked our stay through a travel website and obtained a fantastic deal; we definitely felt we got good value for money. I'd recommend this as a nice little place to stay and an easy place to tour some of the many things the Barossa Valley has to offer.

Nice layout of the room with the access to the garden and the pool. Lindi from reception was super helpful and friendly. Definitely come back.

Clean rooms, good location, shower a bit dated, beware advertisement of twin bed. It isn’t a double bed it’s a single bed.

First time visiting Barossa Valley and we’re very glad we chose The Wine Vine to stay at. Lindy was so friendly when we arrived and upon checking out, she was super helpful with recommendations on dining options and wineries to visit to ensure our visit was memorable. 10/10 will be back to visit.

Easy access, being set back from the road helped make it quiet. Given the bad weather we could not use facilities outside. Not so good - difficult to have a hot shower and given there is no onsite dining facilities some information in our room on local eating options for breakfast and dinner would have been appreciated.

Great staff and the room we stayed in was clean, but it was looking a little tired.
