We stayed in a superior room on the third floor for one night. Room was very spacious and clean with a great view. The only downside was traffic noise. I have stayed in this hotel before and I don't remember that much noise from the last time, but I guess our room was on a higher floor last time. Breakfast was served in restaraunt Humal and it was excellent. There was no phone in our room to contact reception in case of emergiencies or questions. We didn't need it this time, but in some cases it might be useful. There are free parking spaces behind the hotel. Location is very good. I would stay in this hotel again.
The hotel has excellent location right in the middle of Tartu city. Our room was clean, quiet, roomy and bright. Modern parquet floor was a great plus! Slightly annoying was a sliding mattress. The breakfast was pretty basic, though well sufficient. Unfortunately toast was only available white bread. The sauna center has such strange regulations that we decided to skip it. Otherwise highly recommendable hotel!
Our trip was completely ruined mostly because of hotel unprofessional way of dealing with problematic people. We had problems with children under our room who run and scream and bang on walls all night and until 3am i went to reception 3 times asking to change the room or atleast talk to those people. Answer was no free rooms available and we try to to something but nothing was done to calm those kids down. Only sleeping for 2 hours went back at noon finally the lady on reception change our room to higher floor. Night administrator just lied to me that no free rooms were available. And even during tje day time those kids run across the hotel corridors on stairs and yell out of window. That was the most horrible stay i ever had in my life and i was in diffrent hotels. And also ignoring the fire safety rules when on 5th floor corridor was full of baby strollers. As hotel you need to put more attention on safety and service. Hotel otherwise is nice rooms clean and breakfast standart and good. I was in that hotel before liked the stay and thats why we decided to return but this was our last time here.
My experience was pleasant throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is great, right on Town Hall Square. The room was relatively clean with new amenities, although there wasn't a king size bed and we had to put two beds together. Breakfast is worth mentioning, with pancake, which I really liked, and very good yoghurt. It would have been a near perfect experience, but something incredible happened when I checked out. I missed a handbag in the room because of the large amount of luggage. I returned to the hotel two hours later to enquire and was told that ”nothing other than RUBBISH was left in the room”, which I was shocked to hear, as the bag contained at least one whole cigarette (which my friend had commissioned me to buy from a Chinese duty free shop), a whole box of Chinese tea, a bag of expensive Chinese hot pot base, some chocolates and other items! . I didn't call the police for time reasons, but I chose to publicise this fact here, which I think is a shame for any hotel.
Opposite Tartu’s impressive university this comfortable boutique hotel is the perfect place to visit this lively and historic city. The hotel itself is very nice- welcoming and comfortable, its rooms spacious, well equipped and full of character and its catering delicious. Sadly, the restaurant for dinner was not open that night- a great pity as the menu looked delicious. Highly recommended.

NIce and clean, well located hotel with polite staff. Really tasty and rich-full breakfast Though overpriced- 170 eur/night without Spa entry is definitely over Eu's average. Been here with family two years ago and paid for the weekend around 360 eur for 40+ m2 jacuzzi equipped ensuite and spa entry. Looks Tartu's cultural capital status hyped the situation...

Easy to find and check in. Staff is friendly and explains the rules quickly. It’s ok place for 1 night and given the price of the competition, I guess it’s ok. The place is in a bit of disarray some due to guests but also because it seems it was out together from donations of furniture and linens and some construction materials. It’s an interesting Hostel, don’t get me wrong, just not used to this in previous hostel stays. Toilets were roomy and clean. Showers on the other hand very small, broken some and not so clean. Yes I would stay again, especially for the price given all other options are more expensive.
