ザ ウォーターズ(The Waters)

I recently stayed at The Waters with my wife and it’s undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever visited. The views are absolutely stunning; the room is well equipped, modern and ultra stylish; the continental breakfast was fresh and delicious; the location simply incredible. Special mention to Rob for going the extra mile to make our stay extra relaxing. I had a ‘big’ birthday whilst we were there and Rob assisted in helping my wife arrange a wine tasting tour on electric bikes, which was outstanding. He also helped by driving us around to several different places whilst we were there as we were without a car. All in all, very highly recommended.

Our family of three adults from the US had an amazing few days at The Waters. Rob and his family are AMAZING hosts. And the communication before, during and after our stay was superb. The facility and grounds were perfect - Spotlessly clean and every detail provided.

The Waters was a delight and the perfect way to start our NZ adventure. It is comfortable, clean, and quiet with beautiful views and convenient access to the beach, Abel Tasman park and local restaurants. Rob and his family were wonderful hosts, attentive and helpful. The in-room breakfast offerings were plentiful, convenient and tasty. Highly recommend!

Just the best spot, an amazing room and so close to the beach - was such fun in the waves! Lovely breakfast too. And Rob is a brilliant host! We’ll be back!

This was our 1st lodging for our epic family graduation trip. 2 parents and 4 kids we took over The Waters. The drive to the location is beautiful countryside and pulling onto the property you see rows of olive trees and quaint landscaping touches. As we walked into the property we were all so overwhelmed by the spectacular views. Rob is handsome and warm as he welcomes all of us and his children Luna and Willow are like little sprites as they all walk around this property as if it were just any place but of course it isn't The rooms are pristine and clean and well appointed. Rob provides breakfast the evening before and it is more than enough. Each morning we enjoyed eggs and cold cuts and fruit and wonderful grain breads. My only note to future visitors is to bring water shoes and this is not about The Waters per se, but about the beach at the Waters. It is not the easiest beach to walk barefoot. I did manage to walk but I only did it once and if I had had better footwear I would have walked more. Despite this, the property and the beach are gorgeous and should not be missed. The Waters is a perfect place for a small group who would love to just be among themselves. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay, you can't go wrong at The Waters.

How beautiful can a location be? The Waters is stunning! The location as well as the room (villa). We absolutely enjoyed our stay and Rob is a great host, he leaves you total privacy but still is always around for help or any type of advice. And did I mention how stunning the location is? And the best was super comfortable.

We stayed for four nights with our three children (two rooms with connecting doors). Beautiful location/ocean view. Excellent rooms. Rob is a super host and can assist you with trips, dinner tips etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waters. It is a lovely property and the family/owners are wonderful. Rob is a wealth of knowledge about the area and New Zealand. He was able to book an activity for us after hours for the next day which was amazing. He also offered a charcuterie board and wine dinner to end our busy day! We would definitely return here and highly recommend to others!

Imaging sleeping next to the Tasman Sea whilst nestled in a vineyard that’s next to an olive orchard. Wait, it gets better! Rob is at the helm of everything happening at The Waters and his passion for the property, salt-of-the-earth energy and genuine interest in our local travel experience enhanced our vacation. If I could 10-star rate The Waters and Rob and his family’s hospitality, I would in a heartbeat! Other highlights include the proximity to Abel Tasman National Park, Rob’s terrific local recommendations (dinner,drinks,excursions), hanging by the infinite pool after a long day of hiking and the luxurious-meets-homey vibes of the property.
