タウォンガ観光公園(Tawonga Tourist Park)

This was the perfect place to camp with our dog. We had a beautiful big private site right on the river. The whole place is really clean and the camp kitchen and bathroom are lovely and new. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were very surprised to find there was only a handful of visitors at the park compared to other places in the area which aren’t near as nice. This will change in the future as word gets out.

The cabin was very well appointed and very clean with good kitchen facilities. The amenities were also very good. The park itself was in a lovely location and very quiet. Would happily stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at the park and had pretty much everything we needed, the relatively new management were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the induction cooktop, whilst it would be nice to have wifi, it’s nice to break away from technology every now and again.

The natural features at the park are unique and keep us coming back in spite of the park being grossly overpriced for the amenities provided. Online booking often didn’t work and full payment when booking (even 12 months in advance) is ridiculous and needs to be changed. Needs a new children’s playground, slab sites and other ground work to remove mud holes, grass needs to be sown and watered. Needs boom gates and a lock on toilets to prevent day visitors to the riverbank from driving around in the park and using the bathrooms. More restrictions and policing of noise after 10pm at night. The entertainment (singer) was not necessary and too loud at 9pm at night for children to sleep. The shop needs to carry basic supplies of groceries, particularly milk and bread not just junk food and merchandise. It also needs to be open more often on weekends. The office needs to be open later on busy weekends for late arrivals.

Wonderful camp facilities, well maintained, large open spaces among shady trees, easy to access, great value for money. I went during an off peak period and was very quiet and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff

This beautiful leafy caravan park is a must stay , situated on the Kiewa river it's a lovely destination for families to spend time relaxing by the river on comfy camp chairs or floating down the river on lilo's.

My family and I have waited 5 years to get back to the caravan park after nearly 30 years of staying annually before that. We were happy to be back as the park is lush and by the Kiewa. Despite the new reception area, some decor changes in the cabins, bathrooms and kitchen, and supposed million dollar works, not much has changed (for better or worse). The over seeing company needs to consider changing their booking and contact procedures as amending bookings and a full upfront payment for bookings is not applicable for this location and its busiest period (on/around christmas).

Great park with lovely staff. We had a spacious site with plenty of shade. The amenities block was tidy and clean. The powered sites were a bit on the pricey side of what I’ve been paying at similar parks. Overall we wished we could have stayed longer and I’ll definitely be going back for another visit.

It's great to see this excellent caravan park reopen. The sites are generous, the facilities are clean, and the bathroom blocks are ample for the number of people, and they are not closed at inconvenient times. The river and the people are really good. Coffee enthusiasts will be happy with the "new kiosk," but not so much if you're looking to buy an ice-cream.
