Great place to stay! Not a new “modern” Place but a great place to stay. Quiet, out of the way but accessible.👍

The woman who checked me in was very friendly and asked if i would like a room close to some other motorcycle riders there as she explained how nice they were

Not luxurious by any standards but quite adequate and reasonably priced for a one night stay in a town that is not on your regular radar.

The room was not properly clean when I entered, but when I told the front desk, she came and cleaned it. However, then the cleaning fluid smell was so strong. Also, I could hear other people's TVs. And a group of people sat outside my room in their chairs and drank alcohol and talk. It was very trashy. I would never stay there again.

Desk was friendly and polite but motel is old, outdated. The grout was nasty. Toilet tank propped up with a 2x4. Nasty old woman 2 rooms down smoking like a chimney in her doorway and my room was no smoking. Bed spread felt like a moving blanket.

The Fincastle Motor Inn is an older property, but very clean. I have stayed here previously and when in the area, would stay here again. It is quiet and the owners are friendly and welcoming.

Nothing. Got no other hotel choices. Only hotel in town.

Not clean, worn and stained linens, worn and stained towels. I had difficulty getting the shower to work. No restaurants close by. The closest convenient type store was nearly half mile away. How this place ever recieved a 3.5 rating is beyond me. The staff were all really nice and pleasant to deal with. Tazwell has limited accommodations available as the only other hotel in town didn't appear any better.

I had no problems with my online reservation. I see many negative reviews here, but for me the Lodging was functional - the bed was comfortable enough for me to sleep well, the AC and TV worked fine, and the cleanliness was okay. There were no burns or smells in my room. I realized after checking out that I had left something in the room, and when I called, they had it waiting for me at the front desk. If I have a complaint, it's that the toilet is so close to the wall that it was awkward to use.
