The luxury tent was a complete disaster. We were moved from one tent to the other because there was air coming in through the slits in the door at 40 F. This was at 11pm. The second tent that we were moved to smelled of sewage. This is their most expensive room and it is just plain terrible. Absolutely horrible experience.

The transformation of the property is amazing. The location, vibes, interior and the service was beyond exceptional. The whole experience was absolutely worthy for money. The front office staff Mr Saurabh and Ms Rupali was really very nice, friendly and did their best to make our stay comfortable and great. Their ability to handle guests request and different situation was amazing. The quality of food was amazing and the service by food beverage team headed by Mr Deepak was great. He is the most sincere, humble and friendly person I have ever met. I would like to sincerely thank especially Mr subodh and his colleagues Mr ***ish, Mr sushant , Ju , Jun, both pankaji and aki for their wonderful service. We didnt have to ask them again for anything.Totally impressed with their service. Also, the quality of Hi-Tea was excellent. I would specially like to mention Chef Ashwin for being so humble and being able to cater to our specific dietary requirements and making us taste the best possible food. The freshness , the quality and the taste was just amazing. His co chef Upadya and chef jai were amazing providing great service.The star gazing session by Mr aryan was unique, insightful and amazing. I was also impressed by the security staff and the lady by the beach. All of them were so polite and amazing in their service. The housekeeping guy was great in their service maintaing cleaniliness at its peak. The person by the pool did his job really nice. lastly, The hotel ***ager had such amazing charisma and down to earth personality. When leaders are great , the team has to be great. Mr, deepak , mr subodh & team , chef ashwin & team , mr saurabh & team, mr aryan really made our stay amazing wanting us to come back again. Truly worthy of money and anand kashi is perfect example of how a 5 star property and it service should be like. I would Definitely recommend it to my friends and family and Ill be visiting again.

If there is a class in hospitality - i must say Taj hotels tops it all. Anand Kashi is one of those mystical places where we are made to feel like we are celebrated everyday.. Food is sublime and head chef Jitendra upadhyay makes it look so simple to bring such extraordinary taste on our table esp making our anniversary special. Durgesh Patil made sure all our needs were met and also made our day very special..I want to thank the whole team for making our stay so memorable and relaxed .. even during the busiest time of the year ..

A small 24 rooms heritage property of Maharaja right on the banks of pristine Ganga is a great place to stay in Rishikesh. One restaurant serves great food of all variety though we found local cuisines not up to the mark of Taj, which I am sure they will improve after this feedback.
