Very well located facing the valley, snow clad peaks of the outer Himalayan range. A compact hotel encompassing a range of offerings like well located Italian outlet, activity hall, terraces to ponder the peaks so on. They recently underwent though renovation and upkeep maintenance sprucing up the premises. The rooms we stayed were large and contemporary well equipped with heating arrangements even the shower area was large and spacious with latest plumbing. The staff is courteous though the challenges of remote location do hamper the services may be due to shortage of manpower. All in all an excellent place to stay and enjoy the fabulous nature.

Worst hospitality from such an exclusive and expensive hotel. Especially Ms. Alka, who have been very rude. It spoiled our trip - biggest mistake to opt for this hotel instead of other good properties here in Kanatal. Recommend not to choose this hotel.

The food at Terraces was absolutely amazing. We had Indian dishes which were very authentic and the Nepali thali made by Chef Deepak & team with the variety of achaar and chutneys was too delicious ***** with the starters The service at Terraces is unbeatable.

I stayed at the terraces Kanhatal recently we discovered a gem right on top of the mountains I was given a wonderful room with beautiful views of the Himalayan ranges with the perfect cool climate it was a real treat the rooms very clean the hotel s cleanliness was top class they have a bonfire every evening which is a plus cafe romano serves great pizzas & sandwiches they also have a dhabha which serves good snacks & tea with an open garden area around . Very good breakfast & dinner as well Ashu ji Deepak ji & jyoti ji made us very comfortable during our stay would like to thank their entire staff for their hospitality & service everything was more than expected great work keep it up .

This property never ceases to take my heart every time I visit here. The Terrace is the place where luxury meets warmth. It has super courteous staff, impeccable food, artistically renovated rooms. Rooms in the third level are best view rooms, although one gets a Himalayan view from almost all the rooms. This time, I got to meet the head chef himself. Listening to his thoughts about food, makes you realise why The Terraces is well-known for its food taste and quality. Respect and two Thumbs up for the chef! Well, I can go on and on about this property but once you are here, be assured that you will be taken care of, with high standards!

We spent 2 nights at the resort, resort is at very beautiful location where you can clearly see himalayas range, whole staff is too cooperative, they have a wide range of buffet and also if you would like they have inhouse dhaba and a italian cafe both are amazing on both days we enjoyed pakodas and tea, we travel-led with kids and both of my kids enjoyed a lot, they really provide 5 star services
