グラフトン コテージ & シャレー(Grafton Cottage & Chalets)

The chalets are wooden buildings built into the side of a hill. Clean and adequate. Plenty of hot water. Limited kitchen facilities. Breakfast is not free. Night cap is! Need to drive into town for restaurants and shops. Not good for anyone with mobility issues or lots of luggage as there are steps and narrow walkways.

We booked a chalet high up for the view which was great, but you have to carry your luggage up a lot of stairs and as we are staying in New Zealand and Australia for 2months we have a lot of bags. The view was worth it but travel light. It was stormy when we were there so we ate in. It has everything you need but to hunting as I didn't find everything at first.

Looks like a family-run property. Chalets were nicely appointed bearing in mind they are a little older. Beautifully clean & furnished. Our unit had a brand new aircon, so the owners obviously care about their property. Very nice, wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you 😊

Property was good. Views were great. Air condition didn’t work and got super hot. Staff were nice.

Grafton Cottage and Chalets is situated on a hillside facing the Hauraki Gulf, a couple of kilometres south of the Thames town centre. We spent one night in Rose Chalet, close to the pool and spa area. We had a spectacular view of the gulf from the chalet, which was clean, quiet and very comfortable, with everything we needed. Alby gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful in providing advice and information about the area. We enjoyed the generous continental breakfast that he brought to our chalet. The premises are in a good location for exploring the Thames area and only a short drive from several well-regarded cafes and restaurants. We would happily stay here again!
