Warm reception on arrival. Made to feel very special. Beautiful setting. Peaceful. Highly recommended. Lovely to have a section of beach for resort users. Kids loved the pool and swimming in the sea. Fresh sea food is amazing with the local spices. Staff were very helpful with any food allergies.

We were recommended this hotel by friends but since their visit a large container/passenger ship port is being built about 8km away ***** the coast. Sadly the view from the hotel has been completely spoilt looking to the right out to sea and there is constant noise from the dredgers. Very sad as it must have been beautiful. The hotel has no licence for spirits so the G&Ts we were looking forward to were not available. The staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. They went out and bought a bottle of gin which we thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. Wines are available but the choice is very limited. The food was disappointing especially the breakfasts where the choice was again very limited. We both felt the hotel was rather run down. The pool area needs repair and the cottages also were not of the condition we were expecting. Indeed there was a hole in our roof and one night we had a visitor in the shape of a rat! The hotel rectified the hole the next day but it was an unpleasant experience. As I said earlier, the staff are lovely but with the close proximity of the port I cannot recommend this hotel. It falls well short of the standard you would expect of a Relais and chateaux hotel.

My friend and I had a lovely stay here - beautiful grounds and pool area. Beach was very quiet and a lovely stall selling clothes and fabrics which I enjoyed. The Dr in the Spa was so helpful recommending which Ayurvedic treatments to try and my therapist Hema was great. We attended Unni’s yoga & meditation classes and really enjoyed these!

Beautiful & peaceful hotel with a great sea view. We started our days with a yoga class, by the sea with an amazing yogi teacher, enjoyed the swimming pool & ended by their Legacy massages. 100% recommended 🙏🏼

The morning yoga classes were excellent. Unni is a wonderful teacher he adapted each session to meet the needs of the group and his explanations of the poses were really helpful. The setting right next to the beach was beautiful with the sounds of the waves and birds. I would recommend anyone staying here to try the yoga class even if you’re a complete beginner Ummi will guide you through the session.

The stay was excellent. This place has wonderful sea view. And full of greenery. The private beach is one of the best in India. Totally recommend this place for a peaceful serene holiday. Also they have a wonderful spa. They offer amazing range of therapies. Dr Greeshma and Hima made my stay wonderful. The entire staff is great!! Everyone should definitely come here!!

Niramayaa is a wonderful resort located by the sea, yet in the midst of greenery. it has ***y wellness treatments which are really good. 'Yoga by sea' is a unique experience with waves for company.our instructor Unni Sir took us through the class with great set of exercises and meditation practices.He also told exercises for specific pains and aches and suggested lifestyle changes for better health. i highly recommend this place for leisure and relaxation and wellness treatments. While you are there don't miss the yoga and meditation by the sea. My stay was very comfortable, memorable and all the staff were very supportive. I would love to return soon for another stay in this beautiful resort.

We booked a stay during the Diwali week, and arrived very late in the night owing to a delayed flight. Our room looked nothing like the pictures we saw, so we requested for a change. One entire day was spent coordinating the shift from one room to the next, thankfully the room was much better. There’s only one small restaurant, where the service is painfully slow, and veg options for me were very limited though my family enjoyed the non veg food. The pool was overrun by people who wouldn’t bother to shower before entering. The beach is unsafe unless you are an expert swimmer as a lot of erosion has happened due to port construction activity nearby, which means the beach slope is very steep. The sights of cranes, drilling noise and pollution due to the construction aren’t what you expect at a place like this. The spa is good, but even there the adjoining room was used by the therapists to hang out and chat loudly completely disregarding that therapy was going on in the next room, and even after pointing out it didn’t stop. There’s constant noise from vehicles coming to the property. Please don’t book a stay here if peace and quiet is what you seek.
