ジャカナ アパートメンツ(Jacana Apartments)

We stayed here because we were attending a concert at the Riverstage Stadium and the accommodation was only a five minute walk away. The two bedroom apartment was very spacious with a big balcony overlooking the river. It was very clean, apart from the bathroom which was a bit grimy. There was also hair behind the door. We had an undercover parking spot opposite the door to the building, which was included in the room rate. There is a cafe a short walk away (a couple of minutes) which is operated by the apartment complex, and very reasonably priced with great coffee. We would stay here again if needing accommodation in this area. Overall, it was good value.

Great location. We asked to move to another apartment as ours was very noisy. We were close to the hwy. The staff were fabulous and moved us to a much quieter apartment facing the river. We also asked for a late check-out which was accepted. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the Riverway lagoon. A must if you’re staying in the area. It’s free with great facilities.The library is next door with a good cafe.

I suddenly became ill. Our stay was to be over the next morning. I wasn't able to travel. We worked it out with the management to stay another day. Stayed in the apartment the whole day sleeping and watching great movies. I would definitely love to stay the next time I'm in Australia

Dirty linen- bed bugs in main bed. Suffering bites to arms and torso.

I couldn't understand why after taking 2 x $240 payments from my credit card the front office still insisted on seeing my card. I flew in from interstate after the office closed so my locally based sister filled out the check in form when she arrived but apparently I had to attend the office in person and fill in the card details on the check in form. Last time I booked we were in Itara and we were impressed with the low noise in spite of the proximity of Riverside Drive. This time we were in Jacana and the noise level was so bad at night I used earplugs to get to sleep. Still a great location but Itara next time or another alternative.

These units were great to walk around riverway and shopping centre.

Not too bad, nice location, interior just starting to wear and tear. Only gripe is the lack of daily servicing considering the price.

Good location at Riverway, very near to my family in Condon. Although the apartment had all of the basics needed for a week's stay (e.g. kitchen and laundry items) it was nonetheless quite Spartan relative to the apartment in Brisbane CBD where I stayed in the previous week. No TV in the bedroom, sofa was not very user friendly, one small tube of body wash and one tube of shampoo for the week. Not serviced daily, no replenishments of bathroom items nor any condiments, coffee, tea etc. It was 15% more expensive than my Brisbane suite rate, and only half as comfortable.
