オテル ロタンティック(Hotel Autantic)

Each year I stay here for 1 night because of my work, and really like this place. Staff is really friendly. Rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. From the terrace you have a magnificent view of the mountains. I love their breakfast. So delicious. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool. The hotel is a 20 minutes walk from the railway station. If you go out at night, don't forget your flash light because it's a 5 minutes walk from the main street.

My husband had to stay one night in Bourg Saint Maurice for work, and I accompanied him. We stayed in Hotel L’ Autantic. 1,6 km from the center and from the train station. This beautiful place is in the valley, surrounded by green and by the mountains. There are enough places to park. WiFi for free. The rooms are beautifully decorated and maintained. They all have a terrace of balcony. The breakfast buffet is great, a lot of choice, everything freshly prepared. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here on vacation. Kristine

I always like to stay at this place. Rooms are nice and clean! Beds are very comfortabel. And staff is really friendly. Nice swimming pool with separate whirlpool. I enjoyed my breakfast with lots of choices. The hotel is about a twenty minutes walk from the railway station.

Nice hotel, a little outside town. Staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean, and they have a nice terrace where you can sit outside and/or have nreakfast if weather allows. Hotel has no restaurant but there are multiple choices in walking distance.

The breakfast was good and the room was clean. However the hotel was kept impossibly dark in places and the sensor lights didn’t always work making navigation difficult through hotel including up and down stairs. The outside of the hotel was also barely illuminated at night making our evening walk back after dinner challenging. Note also: guests are not permitted to wear hiking boots inside hotel, rather hiking boots are stored in a room just outside front entrance and rubber slide shoes are provided. Not a terrible inconvenience but note before entering. We were also asked by front desk staff to not drag our large suitcase up the stairs (there’s no elevator) as it was noisy. No offer of help by hotel staff to transport our suitcase upstairs to our room was made, and we are clearly seniors. Would not return.

For a few reasons, this would be a hotel to avoid. Above all, we found the attitude of management to be quite unwelcoming, which is the last thing you want in a hotel. If you don’t want to welcome your guests, perhaps you should choose a different business. Now, the details…. They scold you if you make too much noise while lugging your luggage up to your room… but don’t offer to help. They ask you to remove your boots before entering… ok, fair I suppose for a hotel that sees a lot of hikers. At least they do offer slippers. The hotel is a 15 min walk to town, so location is not great. And the road back is totally unlit, so if you’re coming back at night, be sure to have a torch! WiFi is unacceptable ( I tested: 300 baud modem speeds. Hello, 1980’s). Breakfast is nice, but don’t arrive a minute early, or you’ll be shoo’d away. The shower head is oddly placed, very low down, but that’s just a quibble. The attitude is the key. The hotel property is past it’s prime… and probably it’s management as well.

Beautiful property, very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Reasonable prices. Beautiful landscape and very quiet. AC would be welcome as well as an onsite restaurant

Superbe hôtel dans Bourg Saint Maurice (à 1,5km du centre). Nous y sommes descendus 3 nuits à la mi-novembre. Très bien situé au milieu de petits prés dans lesquels broutent des petites chèvres. Nombreuses places de parkings. L'extérieur est magnifique : en pierre et en bois. L'intérieur est un petit bijou concernant la décoration : mobilier, vaisselle, cadres... Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est parfaite, la propreté est impeccable. Et que dire des petits-déjeuners ... entre viennoiseries, gâteaux maison, mini-crêpes, confitures maison, fruits frais, fruits secs, et tellement d'autres choses... Il y a aussi une piscine intérieure. Tout est raffiné et décoré avec goût. Et c'est très calme. Les personnes qui nous ont reçus sont toutes très aimables et souriantes. Je recommande vivement ce havre de paix.
