The hotel and staff were very pleasant, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel provides shuttle services to the nearest elevator at 2 different hours in the morning and can also bring you back. Although the hotel is located in a low town, we really enjoyed the quiet, the quality of the room and the breakfast

We stayed at Tetras Lodge Hotel in March 2024 for a skiing break, as it was our first time skiing in this region we decided on the location as it was a positively reviewed hotel situated in a great spot at the end of a quiet village. The hotel is superbly situated, whilst at the edge of the village the amenities are a two minute walk away and the ski lift/ restaurants are a five to ten minute walk away (the hotel offers a shuttle run in the morning and evening to the ski lift). The hotel itself is newly built however it has the feel of a traditional yet contemporary ski lodge. The rooms are a good size and kept extremely clean, all of the communal areas are comfortable and well thought out. The hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We opted for half board, the breakfast is good, offering a wide selection of hot and cold options, the view over the river is an added bonus. You have two options for dinner, you can opt to take your evening meal in the hotel restaurant, whilst the food is very good it's a limited menu and whilst we stayed very few residents chose to eat at the hotel. The other option is to eat at one of their two associated restaurants in the village using a generous allowance amount. Both restaurants offer a good selection of good quality, local dishes - I would recommend dinning early as both restaurants became busy from 8pm onwards. Overall staying at Tetras Lodge Hotel was a very enjoyable experience and we'll certainly be looking to return again at some point! Thank you Tetras team for a great stay!

Magical riverside location with friendly, helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, their warmth enhanced our stay. Serene ambiance by the river made our experience truly enchanting. The spa after ski, the breakfast watching the scenery, the tasty dinner… all Highly recommended!

Our stay at Tetra Lodge in Tignes Val d'Isère was a delightful mix of contemporary style and exceptional service. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness stood out, making every aspect of my visit memorable. Mornings began with a rich, varied breakfast that perfectly set the stage for a day on the slopes. Although the hotel boasts a spa, a rare find in France, it's notably smaller compared to those in Austria, offering a more intimate relaxation experience. The rooms, while comfortable and tranquil, could benefit from some updates and are somewhat compact. Despite this, the overall ambiance and the quality of service more than compensated for these minor drawbacks. Tetra Lodge is a commendable choice for anyone seeking a warm, service-oriented stay in Tignes, with the added perk of starting the day with an excellent breakfast. It's a welcoming base for ski enthusiasts looking to explore the beauty of Tignes Val d'Isère.

The hotel is very clean, spacious with a mix of modern and traditional interiors. The staff is very friendly and always available. The only recommendation I’d have is about the breakfast, the hot food offer can be improved; the mini crepes and pancakes are delicious though. The location is ideal for skiing and access the village.

It was a great experience: a warm welcome, a wish for “happy birthday “, a staff extremely dedicated and thoughtful . The hotel is located about 400 m away from the slopes, a shuttle being offered at 8.45 am and 9.45 am. Breakfast is plentiful, Savoie traditional “charcuterie et fromagerie”. Exceptionally clean

We stayed for 7 x nights mainly to ski. Location is so pretty - on the lake, in the village & 5 min walk to first ski lift! The hotel is superb - very stylish, comfortable rooms, outdoor hot tub with mountain & lake view, super friendly & helpful staff! Breakfast is abundant & delicious. We stayed half board - menu choice is limited ( we had dinner on 2 x nights & it was very good) however we were delighted to disvover that we had a choice of 7 x restaurants in Tignes to dine. Hotel reception would make our reservation & we had €50 per person allowance. The snow conditions were perfect for skiing - we had a brilliant holiday! A mixed bag. The hotel itself, and its facilities, were brilliant; a true ‘lodge’ feel, modern and up-to-date decor, wellness spa (jacuzzi/sauna/stream room) was fabulous, very comfortable bed and fantastic selection of food for breakfast. However, as some of the other recent reviews have disclosed, the evening meal was disappointing. The menu at the lodge was pretty limited, and there was an expectation to use the other 3 local restaurants they contract with to provide evening meals. While the hotel provided 50 euros per person limit at these restaurants, and the food was indeed very good, this was not advertised upon purchase of the holiday package. Expectation was that half board would provide an in-house evening meal, which was not provided. They also advertise fine dining, which is certainly not the case at all. While this next issue may be down to a matter of miscommunication, a sour taste was left in our mouths before we settled the room bill. I proposed to my partner during the week; I disclosed this to the hotel on the first day. Social convention, particularly at a hotel of this cost, would suggest a reasonable expectation of a small gesture for the recent engagement. The hotel manager was quick to congratulate us for this, and offered ‘complementary’ bottle of red wine. I double-checked that this was indeed complementary, and which was reaffirmed by the manageress. However, when settling the room bill, we were told the wine would cost us 66 euros. We challenged this and she explained that they do not do comp gestures - even for engagements it appears. We were left gobsmacked and very annoyed they picked such an expensive bottle of wine, knowing they’d charge us for it, and overlooked the fact we had just got engaged. Not impressed. Other than that, the hotel was lovely and the skiing was brilliant all week - incredibly lucky. We encourage the hotel to advertise the half board system correctly for future guests to avoid confusion.

The staff were very friendly but encouraged and at time felt pressured in eating out every night. The options given were a two star inhouse menu which never changed or eating at establishments within their group. The hotel paid for the evening meals but we were disappointed as we had purchased a half board package and received a bed and breakfast service.
