The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We were arriving after reception closed, so were asked to call to get instructions for getting our keys. We tried to call 8-10 times but there was no answer. On arrival at 10.30pm, reception was closed with a sign that said 'wait for reception to re-open'. Eventually we managed to contact a manager who came to help/ It was clear they couldn't find our booking despite me having the booking ref and having paid in full. Eventually they found double rooms instead of a family one as we had booked. One of the rooms was in a complete state - a full wall poster was fallen off the wall and had to be climbed over to get to the bed, the bathroom stank and the bedroom door lock was impossible to ell if it was locked from the outside or not. We will never stay in an F1 again!

Stopped here on way home from French alps. Got there early 4pm but reception was closed and dodgy characters walking around. Reception opens at 5pm Room was fine but shoddy and did the job for a stay over on a motorway drive. It’s in an industrial estate so close to motorway and 15 min drive to Reims central.

This was a motorway trip stopover on way back to UK so we were looking for a budget hotel close to motorway and in that way it ticks the boxes. It’s pretty run down, room was fine for two adults two children. We arrived at 4pm but no reception open till 5pm so had to go out, A few dodgy characters walking around and smoking outside doesn’t make it very family friendly. I would be careful leaving stuff visible in your car overnight. Overall it’s run down but for a few hours kip is cheap and does the job

If you want squalor, there is no better stay in France. Hairballs, dirty tables and chairs, plop-stained toilets, radiators barely attached to the wall, orange sheets with wafts of sewage and mouldy mop burping from the toilet every so often. The room stank. Capped off an awful night’s sleep in a terrible cold room with a non functioning heater hanging off the wall (with no instructions) and a rattling window which would not close with the most depressingly awful breakfasts. One of the guests sneezing on the bread just about topped off an absolutely diabolical experience. No staff to complain to. Avoid this hovel at all costs.

The price is good, the facilities spartan. It was clean and functional. The included breakfast was ok but the breakfast area is a bit packed and messy as a result. For a night stop on the journey not too bad.

It's a budget hotel, so you don't expect much. You allow for the tiny room, the budget-style bed arrangement, the small bathroom etc. but the bathroom could use a touch of paint and some maintenance as there were some broken fittings etc. The room was exactly as we expected (travelling through, arrived 9pm, just wanted a quiet place with a comfy bed, and that's what we got). The big let down was breakfast. It was a sad baguette on a broken cutting board, some slices of brown bread, a few butter pats, and some cream cheese. There was zero effort put into the breakfast. With a little attention, the experience would have been 1000% improved. Reception staff were very friendly.

It had showers in the room which is not normal for a hotel f1 but was nice but the television was quite old and there was no large table or workspace to work on, the bunks were also quite steep but it was ok

No towels and no notification there would be no towels. When I asked for a towel they said there were none. One of the beds was not made. Broken window that did not shut properly. Radiator hanging of wall. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall. Poo stain on bathroom wall. Dirty. Plastic rubbish under bed. Smelly and very noisy. No WiFi signal in room. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in even for the price. One of my kids cried when they saw the room and wife barely slept 2 hours mainly because of the pungent smell coming from the bathroom.. Room 107.

This is the worst hotel I've ever been to in Europe. Long black hairs in the shower, hairs and dust on the floor, the radiator has hanging off the wall, materasses were stained the ront door to the hotel didn't close properly and there were brown stains on the wall. The kids absolutely hated it and we all went to bed with socks on and didn't touch the walls. A real feeling of filth. Comment from my kids: Hotel F1 uses disposable customers......they only use them once. It wasn't even cheap €85 for the night!

The room we were given still had the previous occupants towels and sheets, asked for a new room which we were given. Unfortunately this was the same. The hotel didn’t have any more rooms, so we took a full refund and departed immediately. The hotel otherwise reflected the budget price.

We stayed here for one night on the way through to another part of France. We were greeted with a relatively unfriendly welcome, and given a key. On finding our room, we were immediately struck by the stained carpets, and by how tired the room felt. This could be a great little BnB if the rooms were given a bit of a spruce up. The radiator was hanging off the wall, there was a lot of noise outside in the night which kept me awake, and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable. There was some signs of mould on the wall. The biggest issue for me was the price - this was above what I would expect to pay for the average room in a good quality Travelodge in the UK. Short story - if you don't mind paying more than it's worth and the location is important to you, then this will be okay for one or two nights

Disgusting. Toilet smelled of sewage Stained bedding .Hairs on bed Someone drilling in adjoining room unsecure carpark. Room door didn't lock from inside. Front door to hotel did not lock. Children felt unsafe.
