ムラージュホテル(Mulaj Hotel)

Fantastic hotel. The reception staff were very polite and I was able to check in slightly early. The room was clean and had plenty of space, the bathroom was in good condition with rain shower and hair dryer. The hotels location is quite easy to find, the entrance is off the main road so can be missed but as soon as you see the sign turn and you will find the door on the right. Hotel located close to the centre, no more than 10 min walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location and excellent staff. I stayed three nights and have no major complaints. The only issue I had was minor and it had to do with the AC. Staff took care of it within minutes. The shower was nice and hot with a rain shower head. Had some laundry done and the price was reasonable. With Tirana being such a compact city the location could not have been better. Excellent choices for restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Close to all major attractions. I would definitely consider staying at the Mulaj on my next trip.

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring all that Tirana has to offer. There is an array of many fantastic bars and restaurants in the Blloku neighbourhood all within a short walk. In addition, there is a supermarket across the road and Tirana’s attractions from Skanderbeg Square, the Pyramid, Tanner Bridge, Bunk Art 2 and House of Leaves are all within a 10 minute walk. Hotel itself is very modern, comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

I had wonderful stay at this hotel! Clean, modern, exceptional reception staff and walking distance to main city attractions. If you travel back to Tirana airport,you can get Luna bus for as little as 400LEK ,bus stop located is behind Opera Building on Main Square.

Clean and spacious room with really comfy big bed and balcony with amazing views of the city. The staff at reception were so helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel in a while. Everything you would expect and more plus freshly cooked omelettes. I would stay again and recommend others to stay as well.

A big plus for the hotel: having bottled water in the hallways as you shouldn’t drink water from the tap in Tirana. The hotel seems to be quite new. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The location is also good, you can do sightseeing and eat at walking distance (except the cable car). It is a safe location being by the side of an embassy. Breakfast is ok (I don’t know why in Albania all orange juice we had for breakfast was already a sugary flavoured water). Cons: 1) Internet should be better, it’s hard to have business calls 2) The bathroom is large. However, there are no places to put toilet things or clothes when you take a shower. We didn’t know the hotel arranged transfer from the hotel, I really recommend it as it is more affordable than getting a taxi at the airport.

The hotel is very well located, between the most cosmopolitan part of the city and the central square. The rooms are on the eighth floor of a recent office and residential tower, with city views. Access is through a separate entry with an elevator just for the hotel. My room had a balcony with a chair and two tables. The room was relatively spacious but lacked a desk to work at or even a chair to seat. It had no wardrobes or drawers but only hanger crosses for hanging clothes and shelves for putting them down. The bed was very comfy. The room had individual air conditioning, very quiet. The decor is simple and practical. The Wi-Fi works very well. The room had a safe, a small minibar and an electric kettle to heat water. Cups, tea, and sugar were available. The bathroom was spacious. Breakfast served in the reception area was simple, not very varied, but sufficient. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The 4-star rating is somewhat exaggerated. A 3-star rating would be more appropriate by international standards. I expected more from a 4-star hotel, like more public spaces, more facilities, a table and chair in the room where I could open my computer, or a more varied breakfast, with more choices of savoury and sweet dishes. It is, nevertheless, an excellent stay option for a couple of days during a sightseeing tour of the city. Not so if you come to work.
