Hall way carpet looked old & dirty. Bathroom had rust stains on back of toilet. Also stains on ceiling.

All I ask for in a chain hotel is a comfortable bed, a good shower, a basic breakfast and a pool for my 10 year old niece who loves to swim For me, this hotel would only score well on the bed and the staff. The shower had very little water pressure, the pool was closed one of the evenings of our stay and the breakfast was more than basic. Low lights included stale english muffins and a waffle maker that stuck no matter how much conditioner you used. I'm a Marriott rewards member and I have to say that I was not very impressed by this property.

The room was small, but reasonably comfortable. The main complaint was about the extremely strong smell of the perfumed odorant being used. It triggered my wife's allergies, requiring her to take an antihistamine. On the other side of the coin, the two staff members we dealt with, Tammy and Conner, were polite, friendly and very helpful. They would be a great asset to any business.

The front desk clerk, Robert, was polite, friendly, helpful, personable and kind. I didn’t arrive till after 11pm and he was cheerful and actually interested in helping me. He told me about the breakfast, best parking relative to the elevator and he was patient. I would come back to the hotel for the very polite staff.

This particular hotel was not up to the Fairifeld Inn standards, like we have stayed at others in the past. The front desk guy was very accommodating. After viewing our rooms, we told him they were not what we were expecting for a Fairfield Inn. Like I said he was very accommodating and checked us out, no harm no foul. We stayed at a very nice Hampton Inn across the road instead.
