Premier Inn Torquay Seafront

The view from our room was lovely but the windows were filthy so you had to go very close to the window to see anything. Staff at check-in were miserable, unhappy and unfriendly. Food in the evening g at the beefeater joined onto the hotel was disgusting and had to be sent back twice.

You know you are going to get a lovely comfy bed when you go to a Premier Inn and lovely cotton bedding. The hotel exterior is grand and the gardens are lovely. Quite a few parking spaces which was good. Good hearty breakfast, both for meat eaters and vegetarians/vegan alike. Sadly the bar closes at 11pm, so were sent to bed fairly early. We'd probably had enough by then anyway!! Our hotel overlooked the front and so you could hear a delivery at 7.30am on the Saturday morning. All in all, I was more than happy with the hotel and all the staff

Great location, hotel a little tired. Strong smell of damp whilst walking from Reception to room. Room was clean, however carpet in room appeared soiled, however closer inspection I could see the carpet was bleach damaged. The outside areas all need a good sweep and tidy, bushes overgrown.

We have been here before , this is not the place it used to be! Scruffy public areas and exterior. Dirty lift. Major trouble with tv first night and useless Wi-Fi. After the second breakfast (buffet area needed a good clean) I was so disappointed that we eat elsewhere. Room not serviced on second day as requested. On a good note: evening meal food on first night was excellent and the reception staff very helpful.

Customer service shocking , had an issue and it's now been 2 months plus since our stay and I just keep getting told we are dealing with compliant. Nothing else. Asked for a manager to call and nothing. Whilst I'm on here room was ok very very basic, sheets not clean, food at breakfast was cold and service was also shocking here with dirty tables and what looked to be nice droppings under the table. 🤮🤮

We wanted a nice relaxing stay on Torquay sea front. Our accessible room was fantastic for wheelchair user.

Rooms and corridors quite clean. The breakfast was fresh and everything was replenished on a regular basis, but toilets next to the restaurant weren't clean enough. I booked two rooms under one reservation and we have been split on the two ends of the hotel which was very inconvenient for us. Rooms under one reservation should be allocate as close as possible not on the different parts of the hotel. Especially when you travel wit little kids and non speaking english members of the family. I asked to amend one of our rooms and move us closer, but has been refused. I was disappointed and felt ignored, staff wasn't helpful at all. Won't visit again this hotel.

Don’t book the advertised family room and expect 1 double and two single beds as per booking description as some only have one single and some are converted doubles with an extra bed.

Had a lovely long weekend break at Premier Inn, brilliant sea views, restaurant and food were both smashing, great car parking, nice location right near the sea front, the bar was chilled out and the staff were friendly, nice selection of drinks. Brilliant breakfasts - black pudding and fried eggs were spot on.
