ヘブン ハウス(Haven House)

Lovely warm welcome by Mel on arrival always a good sign , we were early but this wasn't a problem. We met Alistair later in the afternoon . Was shown to our room and we had a choice of two . Lovely room nice touch with not only a biscuit but also a chocolate on the tray . Plenty of glasses if you had brought a drink with you and all wrapped in plastic to keep clean . Shower was good , and so were the toiletries. Room was very clean . What can I say about breakfast but WOW , so much to choose from. We both had a full English breakfast and oh my wasn't it full , wasn't room for any more on the plate and lovely and hot too. Plenty of cereal, fruit, yogurt to start with and a good sign for me the pot of tea was very hot . Lovely location and with easy walk to the harbour and theatre , good central location. Will definitely be back thank you for making us fill so welcome in your home .

Alister and Mell are very welcoming. The house is very clean and they served a great breakfast. Perfect location, just within walking distance from everything. Free parking as a bonus. Would definitely go back again Thank you for the perfect weekend.

We had an incredible stay in Torquay with Alistair and Mel. We booked this hotel for the brilliant price and even better location, but the highlight ended up being the hosts and the breakfast! Check-in/out was easy, the breakfast was delicious (with lots to choose from) and Alistair and Mel were the most attentive and friendly hosts you could ask for. We’ll be staying again!

Lovely stay , amazing breakfast , we had the Master room , only thing I would say is keep the heating on and keep the curtains closed to keep the room warm , we had the fry up and I would highly rate that , plenty of other cereal available with fresh juice and fruit

A warm welcome on a freezing day, from Al and Mel at Haven House. Our room was comfortable and the tea tray was well-stocked. Al gave us his top tips for local attractions and amenities, and the hotel is well-placed for finding things to do in Torquay. I had a great sleep in the comfy bed, and the shower was hot. My partner and I really loved the cooked breakfast in the morning - I had the veggie full English - it was delicious! Plenty of toast, pastries, cereals, fruit and yogurt available too. Al and Mel looked after us really well and we are planning to return to Haven House soon.

I can say that for a traditional B&B experience this can only be a 10 out of 10 , clean comfortable rooms , exceptional breakfast options to suit even the fussiest eater , ev charging at 17.9p per kwh . The best thing about it were the hosts , interested but unobtrusive. They defintely know how to do the human touch , things like my partner had peppermint tea for breakfast and later that day we got back to peppermint tea bags in the room with a smilie post it. New years eve two little bottles of prosecco with a Happy New year card . Well Done Alastair and Mel and Happy New Year , we will definitely be back again.

Have stayed here several times and always receive a warm welcome from hosts Alistair and Mel. Rooms are lovely and the breakfast is excellent. I have nothing negative to say and would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Everything you needed, clean comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities, drinking water, good shower, great location, lovely breakfast, very nice staff.

Lovely little guest house immaculate and well presented. What a warm friendly greeting we were given on arrival and we were even helped to our room with our bags. Breakfast was outstanding cooked really well and served in abundance. We will definitely be back next time we are in Torquay
