We loved our stay ! We were using Tour as a base for a day tour the following day in the Loire. The hotel is very in assuming on the outside but the inside is new and beautiful. The staff was just wonderful and so helpful. We needed to switch one of our rooms and they did it seamlessly.

This is a lovely little hotel, right off of the centre of town. Close enough to walk everywhere, but just off of the main streets enough to enjoy a quiet night's sleep. The rooms had little touches like a bedside table with contacless phone charging, a free minibar with water and soft drinks, as well as complimentary tea and coffee. Great quality soaps and shampoos provided as well. We found the bed confortable, large and with good quality linens, and appreciated that the toilet/bathroom had proper separations and wasn't open concept. Towels and bathrobes were thick and comfortable. We used the little gym both mornings. It was impeccable, with high end machines. A couple of things to work on: *Toiletries weren't replaced on the second day (of a 3 day/two night stay), even though we had clearly run out of shampoo and conditioner. *Bathroom floor was very slippery when you had wet feet, and I found that the floor towel did not cover enough of the floor. I slipped twice. *The lighting could have used dimmers. It was either too dark or WAY too bright. However, all in all we had a confortable stay, and very much enjoyed the warm hospitality.

Fabulous find in the Loire Valley France. Les Tresorieres is a 5 start hotel located centrally in Tours. It is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The room was large, especially the bathroom and very modern. The service in the breakfast room was great and the staff would prepare eggs to order. We were very lucky to find such a beautiful hotel.

I have been traveling regularly all across Europe for nearly two decades, and (for the money) my wife and I agreed that this is the most pleasant hotel we've stayed at on the the continent. When we walked into the room we couldn't believe what we were getting for the price - especially the spacious marble bathroom. The front desk staff were wonderful - giving us advice on chateau's to visit and making dinner reservations for us. The hotel's location is great also. It is right across the street from the market hall with an affordable parking garage underneath, and it is also walkable to the lively Plum Square. As a whole our stay in Tours exceeded our expectations overall, due in larger part to this hotel.

The design and planning of this boutique hotel is appealing and conducive to relaxation, feeling of being taken care of. As importantly, staff, in particular Mr Simon, who was at front desk and helped us with numerous requests, he and the people around him, as well as the gentleman next day (sorry cannot remember the name) - were excellent - in manners, service, communication and flexibility to our needs. Highly recommend this hotel!

I liked everything about this Hotel and the staff was fantastic. Our room (#2) was large and well appointed. Comfortable beds, good shower nicely furnished. The Courtyard area was an unexpected Bonus which we actually utilized for a little vacation down time, buying wine and cheese in the awesome Marketplace just across the way and taking a night to relax. We has no trouble parking. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Perfect spot in Tours, just steps from the Pedestrian area that has all the Restaurants as well. The littel spot for Coffee and the amazing Bakery just a few steps away were a fringe bonus!

Having read other reviews we were very disappointed. We did have a very professional welcome but this young man’s colleagues let him down badly. We had booked a “Prestige room” no.1. The room was very spacious and well appointed. However It’s on the ground floor directly next to the pavement and road. There’s no blind for the bathroom just a net curtain and frosted glass. We didn’t mind that but others might find it odd to have the shadows of people walking past as you have a shower. 3 problems: Our room was not serviced properly - no change of towels bathroom bin not emptied previous evenings drinks glasses not cleared away. The air conditioning failed. You can’t open the window because you are literally on the pavement with people passing by. Our biggest disappointment was when we raised these points at checkout and said the air con failure gave us a poor nights sleep there was just a shrug and the comment it had failed at 7pm the previous night. No one has told us as guests. No gesture offered from the hotel at checkout. That is not service in any hotel - never mind 5 star. Breakfast was good but not great (and the breakfast area is small and fills).

Like many countries this summer, France was suffering with a very rare September heat wave when we came to Tours. The AC couldn’t handle it which made sleeping uncomfortable. After the first night, the staff made it possible for us to sleep in an empty room that did have AC. Bravo to them for caring and doing something about it!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The service is certainly 5-star. Special thanks to Marine, who welcomed us with a smile and was extremely helpful with all of our questions on arrival and the following days. At night, Timothy went above and beyond with drinks, service and restaurant suggestions. We stayed in the largest of the regular rooms, the Prestige type. Room 7 in L'Orangerie overlooks the courtyard and is well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable, there was room to relax and the bathroom was spacious. A tiny nitpick - the hanging space in the closet was not long enough for my wife's dresses. It is not a long walk to the main area, but the hotel is a bit off the beaten path. However, the Les Halles market is just around the corner. Highly recommend visiting the various providers to put together your dinner, and eating in the hotel courtyard. There are plenty of tables and it is a gorgeous, calm oasis.
