Residence Inn Durham McPherson/Duke University Medical Center Area

Nice to have shuttle service to hospital and Duke campus (they serve a 3 mile radius). Easy walk to restaurants. Good breakfast and coffee service. Clean, well equipped studio accommodations.

I liked the easy access to shops and food, as well as downtown and the interstate. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good (and free) and the staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful.

Hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not catch his name, but the gentleman who drives the hotel shuttle was so friendly and courteous and kind. The breakfast was good, a lot of options and food was fresh and hot. The only con I could think of is that there was a lot of street noise. I woke up multiple times throughout the night from cars zooming down the street.

The room itself is exceptional and perfect for a business stay or writing retreat, especially as the kitchen allows you to cook and stay focused on work without having to leave the room. Location is also great if you do want to explore restaurants and Duke. Only complaint is that their breakfast is mediocre at best.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Durham. Close proximity to restaurants, bars and DPAC.

Overall I would definitely use this facility again. However, my check-in staff was nice but not very informative. She didn't tell me about the parking, breakfast time, check out, the deposit, nothing. I had to ask the questions for my reassurance. Although, it wasn't the best check-in experience, I would still recommend and stay.

Good location and clean property. However, although requested to clean the room every other day, as they suggest, we have the room "refreshed" only one time in a 7-day stay

Very nice stay. Good food. Nice room. The only thing is i wished there was a pool. Our stay was during a heat wave in July and a pool would have been nice.

Pro: Queen Bed/Suite very functional and nicely divided between the kitchen, ,office/living room and bedroom areas. Cons: Don't think ******* mentioned there was a $12 fee per day for parking or that cleanig would be done every 2 days The breakfasts are bad.Nothing fresh and natural except for fruit. The decaf coffee was horrible.
