We booked a komfort room. Was very clean and with simple modern furnishing. It was quiet and the air con worked well which is needed in the heat of August. Slightly annoying that it beeped and flashed when the hotel set timer switched it off automatically after a set period. We weren’t expecting this and it woke us up with a start in the middle of the night. Unfortunately the garage on site was not able to fit our high car as the hotel has limited parking with high head space. We found a parking nearby in a pay and display place, so not a huge problem. We didn’t eat breakfast in hotel which was probably a mistake as we found the local (nearby hotel) cafes to be not particularly appetising, maybe we just picked the wrong ones. However we did find a great restaurant in walking distance called La Kramerei. You need to book, at least in August. I can recommend the hotel.
Stayed at the Deutscher Hof to enjoy the Christmas markets. The hotel is very clean, well equipped, and well presented. There is breakfast available but no restaurant (but there is loads within easy walking distance). The staff were all very helpful, friendly, and eager to please. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is a credit to its owners and staff, thank you.
