In my recent sojourn at the 'Riviera' hotel, I found myself lamenting the absence of anticipated opulence. The dearth of direct sea access, compounded by a staircase seemingly leading astray, left me wanting. The demeanor of the reception staff, regrettably, lacked the warmth and courtesy expected of hospitality professionals. Furthermore, the state of disrepair within the room, marked by worn-out furnishings and amenities, failed to meet the discerning standards of a purported four-star establishment. Additionally, the arduous path to the beach posed challenges, particularly for those with health concerns, underscoring accessibility issues. Moreover, the hotel's apparent disregard for sustainable practices left a palpable void in its commitment to environmental stewardship. In sum, my experience fell short of the promised grandeur, presenting ample opportunity for introspection and improvement.

Beautiful sea-view hotel with a nice garden. Quiet and cozy rooms with an amazing ambiance. Staff are very kind and helpful especially Tommy who designed and served an amazing breakfast payed attention to all tiny details to make our time wonderful.

We have been there during the barcolana regatta - it was the best place to be. take a seaview- bedroom - from your room and the Terrasse you are overlooking the adriatic sea, Triest and Miramare Castle If you go there - please Thomas - your waiter at breakfast - my regards, very friendly and helpful!

The rooms were very, very comfortable. The restaurant served excellent food, with the breakfast buffet being awesomely great (as was the cappucino they served). The staff were all just wonderful.

Great hotel and wonderful breakfast served by Tommy,who is so very friendly and efficient. Tommy makes the best coffee and makes everyone feel special What a beautiful view and such a wonderful selection at breakfast.the hotel is fantastic and all the staff are amazing.we would recommend you stay here if you are visiting Trieste .the lift down to the sunbathing area is so unique

We enjoyed very much our stay for 3 nights, the room was very beautiful with a little balcony and great view of the sea. The restaurant has also an excellent view, and we had twice dinner there. Alessandro did a special effort to serve all well and it was a pleasure to have such a great service. The lift access to the beach is very special and the beach bar and service are very nice too. We will come back.

Beautiful hotel by the seaside with a lovely breakfast and amazing views. We enjoyed a wonderful seaside 3 day break and swam ever day. The lift takes you down to the lido with access to the sea. The hotel is also in walking distance from a small harbour with good restaurants. You can also eat at the hotel with wonderful views across the bay.

One of the best holiday experiences we've ever had. We loved every minute of our stay here. The hotel was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and I cried all the way back to the train station on our last day; I simply did not want to leave. Everything about the hotel - its setting, decor, views, interiors - were restful, tranquil, and beautiful. Every member of staff we encountered was super-polite, professional and friendly. Breakfast was, quite literally, overwhelming in its sheer variety of food, not to mention the glorious presentation and deliciousness, and all overseen by the delightful Tommy, whose pride in his work was evident. I could have eaten every meal from what was on offer at that breakfast table - fresh, sumptuous, and yummy, and all served with love ("I give you my heart!" being Tommy's daily declaration, delivered with every capuccino.) Fernando overseeing lunch and dinner was also superb, as were the Reception staff (Luca, etc) and the cleaners, who worked so efficiently (I think we had two towel changes a day - HEAVEN!) A great team overseen by manager Alex Benvenuto - We will 100% return, with great pleasure.
