Very expensive for what was actually a very average accommodation. Cloudy pool No western food offering Tour group focused Poor quality rental bikes Pressure to eat a buffet over a la a carte Rooms are noisy Bathroom drain blocked. The property is overall kept in poor condition.

We accidentally ended up here, we meant to book Trang An Valley Bungalows which were recommended to us. We were given an extra room free of charge, with the biggest be I've ever seen, the size of 2 doubles but in one mattress. They didn't have sheets the right size so they just lay on top barely reaching the corners, and definitely didn't stay there during the night. We went for dinner, it was comparatively expensive and not very good. Breakfast was not really edible. It was included yet they tried to charge us for it anyway. The tours they sold seemed very expensive, the famous local boat trips for USD 58. We went straight there by bike (2km) and paid about a quarter... Lots of little unfinished ugly details in the rooms. Bare metal chairs outside which were clearly meant to have a seat cushion, couldn't really sit there. There was no room service at all, no new water or beds made. My room unfortunately smelled like wet dog. The view from the room was nice, onto a lotus pond. Also you could borrow bicycles, we appreciated that!

After a visit to the temples in Ninh Binh this was a lovely spot for lunch after our tour. They had lots of food and a very wide variety, plus it was also a nice spot to dip your feet in the pool after a lot of walking. Ww would definitely visit this place again.

Beautiful setting, nice rooms, food was disappointing but staff were lovely and friendly . Pool looked lovely and seating right by the bar would have been perfect if the weather was warmer. Can imagine being a lovely place to stay in summer. Quite out of the way unless you have transport.

An excellent resort, away from everything and surrounded by beautiful nature. Spacious and clean rooms, good restaurant, very nice swimming pool, with poolside bar, billiard table, and above all very friendly staff. I'll come back, it's just 1.5 hour from Hanoi.
